Para muitos visitantes do Peru e até mesmo da América do Sul, uma visita à cidade inca de Machu Picchu é o ponto alto da sua viagem há muito esperado. Em um local espetacular, é o sítio arqueológico mais conhecido do continente. Esta cidade antiga inspiradora nunca foi revelada aos conquistadores espanhóis e foi praticamente esquecida até o início do século XX.

Às 3.55 horas da manhã, as pick-ups do hotel começarão, então esteja pronto cedo e pronto para ir! Você será levado até a estação de trem em Ollantaytambo, onde você pegará o trem das 6h40 e chegará a Aguas Calientes por volta das 8h. Na chegada, seu guia irá encontrá-lo na estação de trem em Aguas Calientes para levá-lo ao ônibus, até Machu Picchu. O passeio de ônibus é aproximadamente 30 minutos. Você deve chegar a Machu Picchu por volta das 8h45 e entrar no site. Durante um passeio por este lugar magnífico, seu guia bilíngüe irá explicar tudo sobre o sítio histórico de Machu Picchu, e você visitará todos os principais lugares dentro da cidade perdida. A visita guiada levará cerca de 2,5 a 3 horas. Depois, você terá tempo livre para passear e admirar este lugar imponente por conta própria. É possível sair do site para fazer um lanche no café e, em seguida, entrar novamente. Seu ingresso é válido durante todo o dia. Opcional: Você pode escalar a montanha de Huayna Picchu (os ingressos precisam ser comprados no momento da compra de Machu Picchu), que é uma viagem de ida e volta de 1,5 a 2 horas. Esta viagem é sem guia. O horário de entrada é das 10:00 às 11:00, por isso, se optar por este passeio, a sua visita guiada será mais rápida para terminar a tempo de entrar no Huayna Picchu. Depois, você descerá a Aguas Calientes, a cidade que recebeu o nome de suas fontes termais. Você pode chegar lá de ônibus: é uma viagem de 30 minutos e os ônibus saem a cada 5 minutos. Então você retornará de trem para Cusco. Você pode escolher o trem das 16h12 para retornar diretamente a Cusco, ou o trem das 19h para retornar a Ollantaytambo - a viagem de trem dura cerca de 1 hora e 40 minutos. Um mini-ônibus estará esperando em Ollantaytambo para levá-lo a Cusco (aprox. 90 min).

Try to find a taxi to get to the station and to come back you will save at least 3 hours because in the morning the bus goes around the hotels and the same for the return
Courteous people but precarious structure. Breathtaking landscapes along the way. Long distance but worth seeing. I highly recommend it.
Heidi did an excellent job coordinating our last minute plan to Machu Picchu. She picked us from the train station and sent us our way to Machu Picchu with clear instructions and accommodations . She couldn’t buy entrance tickets due to local protesting but her tour guide was able to help us get tickets. Ronals (aka Ronaldo) was our tour guide. The experience was one of a kind! We were up at Machu Pichu before Sunrise, when the sun came up it was a one in a life time experience.
Everything was planned as they mentioned and amazing as they described it. The whole experience I had transportation and guidance when needed. They were always waiting ahead in each point of the experience. I didn’t feel lost.
As soon as we contacted Heidi, she carefully planned our three day Cusco trip. She’s a pro and knew exactly what we were looking for. A half day city tour where we toured the historic city of Cusco and it’s nearby archeological sites. A trip through the Sacred Valley where we made various stops through its picturesque towns and ancient sites. And an overnight stay in Ollantaytambo before departing via train the next morning for our visit to the incredible archeological site of Machu Picchu. The perfect hotels and wonderful tour guides made it a trip to remember. After a difficult year for all of us, Heidi made us feel welcomed to Cusco and the region and made sure our trip was safe and organized. Though some restrictions are still in place because of the ongoing pandemic, all of the trip is outdoors and did not interfere with our stay.
