Fer, Leo e Sam

This was a great experience starting off with a beer and some tacos was been explained about the history of Lucha Libre and what to expect of the matches. Our guide Fernanda was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful . The actual Luche Libra matches were very entertaining and very loud.
Loved this. It's the perfect way to see Lucha Libre for the first time, and our host made the whole thing. Friendly, passionate and full of knowledge. You could tell they genuinely love this stuff, and it rubbed off on the whole group. Before the show we had tacos and a beer while getting the history of Lucha Libre explained: the origins, the characters, what the chants mean and how to get involved. It really set you up so you weren't just watching, you understood what was going on. Nice touch getting a souvenir mask to keep too. Then the show itself was fantastic. Loud, energetic, so much fun. The group vibe was great as well, a nice mix of people all there for the same thing, which added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially if you've never been. You could technically go on your own, but you'd miss all the context and the fun of doing it with a good guide and a good group. Go and enjoy.
We had an amazing experience at the Lucha Libre wrestling show! The atmosphere was exciting and full of energy, and the wrestlers put on an incredible performance. It was such a fun and memorable experience. The tacos were also delicious—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The combination of great food and exciting wrestling made for a perfect evening. A special thank you to our wonderful lady guide. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and she made us feel welcome throughout the entire experience. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Great wrestling, delicious tacos, and an excellent guide. I highly recommend it
Fernanda was a A+ awesome guide. She educated us on what to yell in the crowd, the history, and taco history in Mexico. She was warm and friendly making the whole night fun, My son and I agree epic night.
Fernanda was amazing and the Lucha Libre event did not disappoint. This was such a fun experience! We were running late due to our metro shutting down and Fernanda was patient and kind with us. The tacos and Lucha background were a great way to get geared up for the main event. I highly recommend going to see the luchas and if you want a bit of local knowledge in advance, Fernanda and Leo have you covered.
On a positive note, seeing the lucha libre live in a large arena with passionate fans is a great and unique experience. Both guides were also clearly passionate about it. Unfortunately, our evening started really rough. We sat outside during dinner and it was extremely difficult to hear and understand the information part. There was little time to enjoy and talk to other travelers. The one person we did get to know at dinner got split up from us to go with another group to the arena which was a bummer. Overall, it was really chaotic and stressful compared to other tours we took in Mexico City.
Thank you Crystal. We try to do our best but it seems it's difficult to listen outside the taqueria. We will take action about and thank you for your sincere review. Fer
It was a good time. Fernanda and Leo were great guides.
Very interesting event. The tacos were very good along with the drink. The meeting place was very loud sometimes hard to hear but that was just being part of the atmosphere. Fredrica was a great guide. She was very informative and enthusiastic about the history of the sport. Had a great time. She handed out some little goodies which are very gifts for our grandchildren back home. Had a great time and worth our time.
I don't know if it's Viator's fault or the hosts', but they should offer the option to choose between sitting close to the action or way up high—which is where we ended up this time. It wouldn't matter if it cost a bit more; the event itself was great, but the hosts fell a little short.
Hi Alberto! That's a great idea! Thank you for telling us!
This tour was fabulous! At the taqueria we got an overview of different kinds of tacos and some food history. As we ate, our guide shared the history of Lucha Libre and explained everything. Our guide was fabulous. It was a great experience - highly recommend!
