Lisboa: Fado Show com Vinho e História

The 50-minute show was just right for us. The singers and instrumentalists were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. The room does get just a little warm with so many people in it, so dress accordingly.

Great show with local authentic artists. Lovely small venue where the sound carries well without amplification.

I had previously attended a Fado meal in Lisbon, where there were a few songs frequently punctured by breaks between courses. This had a more continuous (concert style) feel, where more information was given about the history of Fado in Portugal. The male and female singers and backing musicians were (to my ear) very talented and it was hosted in a nice atmospheric venue. I was a little anxious that the low price may mean low quality, but was very happy to have been proved wrong!

My first experience with Fado and I loved it! The musicians were amazing and both singers had strong beautiful voices. I did not want a late night dinner show so this was perfect. The setting is beautiful with brick ceiling and walls and a glass of port!

This was an awesome cultural experience. I enjoyed the history, the talent, and the port wine. Great quaint environment. 50 mins was the right amount of time for this activity. For my first trip to Portugal it was definitely a treat.

Extremely talented musicians, especially the fado guitar and the Portuguese guitar. The female and male fado singers were also very impressive. The only downside is the temperature inside the venue - it is extremely hot and humid with no air movement inside. Would recommend bringing a fan to keep cool.

Perfect amount of time. A little bit of history and then performances by male and female Fado singers.

Wonderful venue. Amazing guitar and voices. Highly recommended!! The history of the music was great. Close to many restaurants and walking.

The fado was beautiful and the port wine was yummy! We loved when the two singers sang togather and the fado guitar!
