We met Ho and went to the market with him and he did an amazing job not just showing us the market, giving us history of some of the foods and their connection to Mexico. He was very helpful with other vendors when we wanted to purchase certain items. Back at the house we met Valeria and she was equally as amazing. Both of them were very engaging. The kitchen was big enough for everybody not to be bumping into one another, the music was great and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour to anybody traveling to Mexico City. In addition it wasn’t too long of a tour so we were still able to do other things during the day. Thank you so much.

Wonderful! Private trip (just our family) to local market to buy fresh ingredients with chef, followed by very short walk to private home/kitchen. Chef patiently guided us through preparation of guacamole dip, tortillas and filling for burritos and sauces. All delicious! Chef shared many insights about cooking techniques and culture. Memorable!

The salsa and burrito classes were out of this world. The flexibility and leadership were very important to me. My travel dates changed several times and I was accommodated every step of the way!!

We booked the evening before our private class with Veronica, who greeted us warmly right on time at the meeting place. We weren't super organised so she helped us find an ATM and coffees. The tour of the market was so fun, insightful and beautiful. We then went to Nataliya's awesome apartment to cook and eat. It was such a pleasure to spend time in an authentic neighbourhood and home. Veronica gave us excellent instruction, advice and tips, not only about cooking but also about other activities in CDMX and for our onward travel. This is experience is not to be missed!

The chef and person in charge of the tour is wonderful, friendly and great with kids. We went to the market to buy the food which was fun. Unfortunately, the way the meat is kept is unsafe. At home, we all had a chance to make the meal which was wonderful. Sadly, the potatoes that were prepared to be put inside the burritos were were raw and the meat was very tough and not chewable. I’d recommend the tour but maybe for something simpler like bread.

100% recommend for anyone interested in being amongst the local people. The trip helped us to better understand the day in the life of a local Mexican City citizen. The tour of the market while buying the food was amazing. The cooking was fun for the entire family! We learned a lot and will be able to go back and cook great burritos, salsa and tortillas!

Natalia's burritos class was the highlight of our trip, I loved how we learned the back story about the dish, how to select the best ingredients and the amount needed for the perfect burrito! Burrito night is a weekly thing in our home as the kids love it, the class has inspired us to be more creative in the kitchen and come up with our own versions.

This experience was great. I loved learning how to make burritos from scratch. Natalia is a great host with good knowledge of Mexican gastronomy. I recommend 100% if you are in Mexico City because it is worth it. Now I make my own flour tortillas! 💜💜💜💜💜
