Captain Jane and Brian provided us with an exceptional evening boat tour of the Nā Pali Coast. While passenger safety was their top priority, the ride was filled with breathtaking sightseeing and exhilarating thrills. I highly recommend this company, especially if you’re traveling with Captain Jane and Brian! Apparently, our boat tour was fortunate enough to experience unusually calm conditions for an evening ride, which contributed to the stunning photographs we captured.

We had an absolutely fantastic cruise with our two knowledgeable pilots and guides, Corbin and Drew. The weather was excellent for our 4.5 hour tour around the Na Pali coast. We saw waterfalls, caves, reefs, hiking trails, and geological formations during the trip, and the agreeable seas allowed us to snorkel around the reefs. The whole experience was incredibly memorable, and the staff treated us with great care, supplying snacks and drinks during our snorkel session. Seeing the coastline is an absolute must-do on Kauai!

Captain Jane and Brian were both awesome with explaining the boat ride prior, they make it super fun, and shared many stories of the island they stop to all the most beautiful place along the coast, we had a great weather so that made it even better! Of the seven adventures I experienced this week, The Na Pali Experience was by far the best! It perfectly complements the helicopter tour and thrilling zipline excursions, offering an unforgettable perspective of the coast. Captain Ian’s knowledge of Na Pali’s history, combined with his incredible navigation skills, positioned us perfectly inside sea caves and in front of breathtaking backdrops for amazing photos. First Mate Rocky (Raquel) may be a small package, but she brings unmatched intensity, professionalism, and energy, keeping everyone safe while making sure every guest had an incredible time. Together they created the perfect mix of education, excitement, fun, and first-class hospitality. This wasn’t just a boat tour—it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend! Seana and Erica were excellent guides and we had the best time exploring the Na Pali Coast, snorkeling, going in caves, and seeing dolphins.

I can’t recommend The Na’pali Experience enough. We had an incredible day, and a huge part of that was our amazing crew—Captain Jackson and first mate Mauka. Mauka was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, always greeting everyone with a big smile and checking in on guests throughout the trip. Captain Jackson was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories about Kauai and the Na’pali Coast that made the experience so much more meaningful. You could tell he knows these waters inside and out. One thing we really appreciated was the size of the boat. It accommodates just 18 passengers, which felt like the perfect balance—large enough to have plenty of comfortable seating and space to move around, but small enough that it never felt crowded or impersonal. We were traveling as a family of five, including a 7-year-old and an 11-year-old, and it was the perfect setup for us. The conditions were fairly windy and the seas were choppy, but Jackson navigated everything with confidence, even taking us into small sea caves when it was safe to do so. We had originally planned to book a rigid inflatable (RIB) boat tour, but in hindsight I’m so glad we ended up on the catamaran given the conditions. The ride was much more comfortable, and the crew did an excellent job looking after anyone who started feeling a little seasick. When we got back to the hotel, we heard several stories from people who had been on other tours where many passengers became quite ill. It really drove home how much the captain matters. An experienced captain and attentive crew can completely change the experience, and we definitely felt like we were in the best hands. If you’re trying to decide between tour companies, don’t underestimate the importance of the crew. Captain Jackson and Mauka made this an unforgettable experience, and I’d happily book with them again.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Hosts amazing and so knowledgeable and friendly! Lots of inside knowledge of the island, caves and wildlife! Fresh pineapple and soft drinks were a bonus and the 4.5 hours went so fast!! Really value for money and even attempted snorkelling for the first time ( felt so safe to give it an go) and swam with the sea turtles! 🐢 Absolutely 💯 recommend to check this out! Thanks guys!

After reading tons of reviews and watching even more videos... I'm happy we went with Na Pali Experience for our boat tour. I liked all the elements of this tour... the group was not too large, the crew was funny and entertaining and we felt safe and informed the entire time. Hawaiian Brian even air dropped an amazing cheat sheet of a list of all the great restaurants, shave ice and other stops all around the island. I recommend this company to anyone
