We had a great tour on the “super raft” with Ryan and Max! Ryan did an excellent job as captain navigating small spaces and rough waters and Max did a great job checking in on everyone! Some things to note: -We did the afternoon tour and didn’t see dolphins and had fairly rough water which seems typical for the afternoon. We were still able to go snorkeling and go into two sea caves (open air one and a lava tube). -Very adrenaline filled! You go so fast but you will fill every slam of the boat on the swells. We sat in about the middle (4 rows back). They explained that sitting in the front you’ll feel it most vs the back the least -The feel is more front and back vs. side to side which was actually better for my motion sickness, but there was someone who was quite sick on the tour but seem to be well attended to. -We had 24 people on our tour (out of 28 seats on our boat). It was a nice size to be able to get individual photos and be able to have some room while snorkeling -Size of the boat was nice to be able to get close to the cliffs, navigate under a waterfall (you will get soaked)! -The super raft is super fun! The last 5 mins to the dock was so exhilarating and an unexpected highlight for both of us!
Captain Ryan and Max were excellent hosts. Max went around ensuring everyone felt okay. Definitely use motion sickness medicine before you leave. Sunblock and headache medicine would be helpful also. The views were stunning as described. Raft allows you to go into caves versus catamaran. Highly recommend if you are a family with teenagers and thrill seekers! Must do!
Sit at the back of the seating if you need to protect your back and neck. It’s a pretty rough ride but loads of fun and amazing scenery. My fav part was going into the open cave.
What an excellent day! We are still raving about it. First hour was a little slow as we stopped to snorkel ( we didn’t snorkel and we knew this before the tour so no criticism there) but stayed onboard to chat with Kenna (?). Great guy. Very friendly and attentive throughout. Then off to the Napali coast. Wow! Just spectacular. We’d flown over it a few days before. But to see it up close was magnificent. There were other yatchs and bigger craft but the great thing about this tour is that you get into grottos and caves larger craft can’t get into. You get wet. And it’s occasionally bumpy. But it is awesome. Ryan and Kenna were excellent guides and entertaining. Highly recommend them!

**An Absolutely Unforgettable Experience!** If you are visiting Kauai, the Na Pali Coast boat ride on the Super Raft is a must-do! From start to finish, this was one of the most breathtaking experiences I have ever had. The captain and his assistant Max were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel safe and welcome throughout the entire ride. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the coast truly made the experience even more special. The scenery along the Na Pali Coast was absolutely stunning — from the majestic waterfalls and hidden sea caves to the pristine beaches and dramatic landscapes, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. The snorkel was fantastic. Going inside the cave was nothing short of amazing! 🌊🏔️ Whether you are an adventure seeker or simply looking to take in the natural beauty of Kauai, this boat ride delivers it all. The captain, Ryan was funny, knowledgeable and made sure we were always taken care of and his mate, Mason was great as well. Being on a smaller boat that went fast was great! I get sea sick and this helped a lot! I saw other groups on a raft that didn’t look as comfortable. I was comfortable the entire time, had plenty of water, stops to Take in the sights and saw cool slimmer dolphins, got blessed with the water falls getting you wet, went inside the caves and perfect day for snorkeling. Highly recommend booking with Captain J’s!
