A Katherine Outback Experience pertence e é operada por vários vencedores da Golden Guitar e extraordinário cavaleiro Tom Curtain. O show do interior oferece uma janela única para a vida na terra no interior da Austrália. É raro e real, com demonstrações de cavalos e de trabalho, entrelaçadas com música australiana e contos humorísticos de mato. Há poeira e caos, e nem sempre as coisas planejam, mas isso faz parte da beleza do interior real. Katherine Outback Experience ganhou a melhor atração turística do NT em 2018 e 2019, o prêmio de melhor experiência do visitante do NT em bronze de 2018 no National Tourism Awards de 2019. Tom lançou seu quarto álbum em novembro de 2019, que estreou em primeiro lugar no ranking australiano de música country do iTunes. Ele teve vários sucessos no topo das paradas, além de ganhar dois Golden Guitar Awards por seu hit Never Never Land, bem como o Álbum de Música Country Independente Australiana do Ano de 2018, Artista, Vocalista Masculino e Único do Ano.

A equipe fornece uma introdução sobre nossa história, história e show. Um jovem cavalo é trazido para a arena e a equipe começa a trabalhar treinando o cavalo ao vivo diante do público, demonstrando a arte da largada. Explicamos a psicologia entre o homem e o cavalo, mostrando como construímos confiança. Se o cavalo estiver pronto para progredir, selaremos e tentaremos montá-lo, muitas vezes pela primeira vez. Nenhum cavalo é usado mais de três vezes no show. Passamos então para nossos cavalos mais avançados, demonstrando o que pode ser alcançado com treinamento contínuo e paciência. Os convidados são então direcionados para nossa grande arena, onde trazemos nossa equipe de incríveis cães de trabalho. Apresentamos cada cão antes de mostrar como os treinamos para trabalhar em equipe. O show nunca fica completo sem algumas músicas originais de Tom, tocadas na sela, com o violão na mão.

This was a good show, but if you also come off a farm you probably don't need to go to the show, but it was entertaining.

We actually love welcoming guests from farming and rural backgrounds, as they often bring a great appreciation for the animals, horsemanship and working dog demonstrations. While some aspects may feel familiar, we find there are always different training methods, techniques and stories to compare — and we certainly enjoy the conversations and shared experiences with fellow people from the land. Fantastic experience! Learned so much from Steph, Lisa,Ruth and Ali. Really interesting and educational. It was great to meet the various animals and ask all the questions we had. Everyone was able to feed the animals and get up close to them. Nothing was too much trouble, spending time talking and explaining methods etc. We were given seat pads to sit on, cold towels, water and ice blocks during the experience. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you ladies!

Loved it! A couple of city folk we had no idea what to expect. It was informative, educational and plain old fun. The cold water and iced towels were appreciated. Loved that they support Dolly's Dream to educate kids about the impact of bullying.
