What an experience! Big Tom was our guide, a very tall, highly knowledgeable and friendly fellow. The weather was miserable, started as drizzle then it hooted down but because Tom was so good, we stuck with him to the end. The tour is great and shows you areas you may not otherwise have seen. Krakow is full of history and Tom is an amazing historian. The walk was around 2.5 hours long. You pay your guide what you feel is adequate but I believe the average rule of thumb is between £15 & £20 per person. There were 5 or 6 different nationalities in our group who all commuted very well with Tom. If you have time, book a walk.
We are very sorry for the weather, this July is a bit miserable... Fortunately, even if we have no control over the weather, we have control over our guides' quality and Big Tom delivered, as always!! We are very happy You enjoyed the tour, all the best!
Great tour lead by Katarina. She was friendly, relaxed & knowledgeable. A very enjoyable afternoon.
I booked for the Jewish Quarter tour with Walkative in English. To my surprise, only my mom and I were present for the tour. It was a huge surprise that 12 people didn´t show up for the tour. Any other tour guide would have declined to have the free walking tour for two people. I was elated to know that Magda was still going to take us on the tour. It was a lot of fun and informative. She took us to many sites and explained everything patiently. She did not rush anything even if we were just two. We had the time of our lives. I am very grateful to her for such a wonderful time. This tour was one of the main highlights of my trip in Krakow. Rest assured you will be in good hands with a tour with Walkative (especially if you have Magda as a tour guide). I will recommend this to all my friends and family who will visit Krakow in the future. Thank you Magda for such a wonderful tour. There are a very few guides like you and believe me I have had my fair share of experience with guides.
What can we say.... Thank You so so much for Your words, Magda will be thrilled to know how much You enjoyed the tour! All the best and keep coming back to us:)
Lucie - our guide - was excellent. So much knowledge! She was impressive.
Thank You very much for the review, Lucie wil appreciate it greatly:)
Another day, another fantastic Walkative tour on my trip to Poland. Michal was incredibly knowledgable about the history of the Jewish Quarter and how it is today. He had thorough answers to all of our group's questions and plenty of great recommendations for further exploration in this part of the city.
We did 2 tours with Joanna. The Krakow city tour and the Jewish heritage tour. Both were excellent. Joanna has a comprehensive knowledge of all subjects and a very pleasant and happy manner
Thank You very much, we are very happy You enjoyed the tours and will pass Your words to Joanna, she'll very much appreciate them:) All the best!
Our tour guide Natalia was great. She made the whole tour interactive and the time passed by very quickly. We learned a lot about the Jewish Krakow.
Thank You very much, Natalia knows her stuff well;) Come back to us for more great guides, all the best!
Big Tom was an awesome tour guide. The tour was thorough and served as a great introduction to the Jewish District. I would recommend this tour!
Thank you very much Julia! Hoping to see you on another Walkative! tour in the future. Regards, Walkative! team
A fantastic walking tour of the Jewish quarter. Very interesting and educational. Anya, our guide ,was funny and knowledgeable. She presented the difficult information about the ghetto in a very sensitive way. Highly recommend this activity. We wouldn’t have got nearly as much out of it if we had walked round ourselves.
Absolutely wonderful tour with Magda, a very in-depth tour and would highly recommend.
