Este passeio leva-o à volta da cratera do vulcão das Sete Cidades, com vistas deslumbrantes sobre as lagoas e o mar. Great afternoon to see sete cidades. The view there is amazing. The guides, especially Rùben, are really nice. You get many explanations thanks to them. It’s really interesting.

After a 30min late shuttle pickup at the port we had to wait another 30min at their staging point while they checked in ATV and Razor customers. To our disappointment we rode in the front of the ATV/Razor tour in the jeep and we’re basically part of that tour and treated secondary. This was not a shared jeep tour as advertised but a combined tour with ATVs that you just tagged along with inside an SUV. Priority was given to the ATV/Razors. They kept breaking down and people constantly had to keep being loaded in the SUV with us. There was about 2 hours of wasted time because of the issues and constant stops with the ATV/Razors. We had to pay $140 for this??? Save your money and go somewhere else. The jeep driver was nice but no value and a lot of wasted time. We regretted booking this tour and wasted our only day in Sao Miguel.
We took this tour when our cruise ship stopped in Ponta Delgada. Our driver Ruben had a good command of the English language and excellent knowledge of the area. The views were stunning. I recommend this tour.

We purchased this tour through our cruise ship, Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas. It was really scenic and interesting. The fog cleared away so we could view the beautiful lakes and the ocean from up high. Our guide, Ruben Faria, ws very knowledgeable and a great driver. He spoke English perfectly and he had a wonderful laugh! Our family enjoyed this tour and we though it was a great way to see the highlights of the area.
