Iquitos Amazônia 2 - Descoberta da Floresta com Pernoite

My time was limited so I only toured for 2 days, but it was a great experience. Make sure to apply sunscreen and bug repellent throughoit the day, and not just once. I ate delicious food, toured the jungle by night, observed sunrise over the Amazon, saw dolphins and went for a swim. And then we met monkeys; just make sure not to bring snacks that they can steal from you, as I accidentally made that mistake. All in all, the experience was unforgettable!

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our tour guide Alan was absolutely incredible. You feel so immersed in the culture and taken care of. You do so many unique things such as boating around the Amazon River, visiting an animal sanctuary, meeting a local indigenous tribe, piranha fishing, and MORE. Falling asleep listening to the rain hit the roof was so peaceful. If you are looking for an adventure, I can’t recommend this enough.

I hat an amazing experience, it was a well planned tour, our two teenage children had so much fun watching animals in the forest , seeing dolphins and interacting with native people was a highlight, the tour guide Andreas was a local and gave us very insightful information about the habitats of the forest and how the locals live and work as well. Highly recommended tour. Just be mindful That it is a lodge accommodation in the forest so don’t expect a 5 stars accommodation, it is more like camping accommodation but we didn’t mind as it was part of the experience.
