A CASA AZUL A Casa Azul é o universo íntimo de Frida Kahlo. Ela passou a maior parte da sua vida aqui, primeiro com a família e, anos mais tarde, com Diego Rivera. Este local acolheu personalidades nacionais e estrangeiras interessantes, atraídas pelo magnetismo de ambos os pintores. Frida e Diego queriam deixar sua casa como um museu para o deleite de todos os mexicanos. Após a morte do pintor, o amigo do casal, o museógrafo e poeta Carlos Pellicer, planejou a museografia. A administração foi confiada ao Fundo dos Museus Diego Rivera e Frida Kahlo, vinculado ao Banco do México e criado pelo próprio Rivera em 1957.
O Museu Anahuacalli é único. A única pena é que os visitantes internacionais geralmente só vêm para cá na terceira ou quarta visita à cidade. Concebida inteiramente por Diego Rivera, é um cenário completo para sua própria coleção de obras de arte pré-hispânicas. Mas é também um templo para celebrar a arquitetura, a música, o artesanato e o teatro, tudo num ambiente natural cuidadosamente projetado.

Fraud. We bought tickets and traveled from our country to visit the museum. Upon arrival, we were informed that our reservations were canceled by the operator Y&D Travel, who did not respond to Viator or to us. We were not the only ones in that situation. Unacceptable that they cancel and even worse that they do not show their faces.
Vendor lied and sent me tickets for 45 mins after my start time. Viator hid behind legalese and hung me out to dry.
The Frida Kahlo House is a beautiful place, full of history, and it is definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude leaves a lot to be desired: inattentive, arrogant, and with treatment that at times is abusive. It's a shame that this overshadows such a beautiful experience.
Be careful that Viator doesn't cancel your tour at the last minute, reassign you to a different time, and then send you tickets for yet a third time.
I was requesting the tickets 10 days in advance and they sent them the same day. Regarding the visit: Since I had requested a time change, I could not plan that day in advance, waiting for a response. The local operator did not respond to my requests and questions. The support agents were very kind and tried to help me.
Terrible, they did not respect the reserved and paid time. They sent tickets with a different time. We had to modify an entire itinerary.
Never got into the museum as Viator messed up the booking and sent us to the wrong address. So we arrived late and as a result were not allowed in. Very disappointing
Beware. Buy your tickets through the Musuem website. Bought a 10 AM ticket that was later re-issued at 4 PM and then when the confirmation came through it moved to 4:45. Read all the reviews about these Skip the line vendors. Total rip off.
VERY unreliable tour operator. We booked weeks in advance and they canceled a day before our tour with no explanation. Kimds ruined a day of our vacation. AVOID this company.
I booked this tour on the wrong date and politely asked them to reschedule and they ignored me and took my money. For this level of customer service, avoid these folks at all costs.
