Localização: Vá até a Estrada 35 e encontre a área de estacionamento superior da Cachoeira Gullfoss. Ali mesmo, você encontrará o 'Gullfoss - Panorama Restaurant - Cafe - Shop'. Se acontecer de você estacionar na área inferior, não se preocupe! Basta voltar para a estrada principal e virar à direita subindo a colina. Horário de encontro: Esteja no ponto de encontro às 11h45. Veículos a serem procurados: Nosso ônibus de transferência está localizado próximo à placa do ponto de encontro de Sleipnir, no estacionamento próximo à estrada do Café Gullfoss. Wonderful tour! The guide entertained us with many stories and folklore of the region along the way. The monster truck, Sleipnir, really made the tour stand out from others. It made for a very comfortable and smooth ride. We had plenty of time to explore the natural ice cave that they find with assistance from park rangers. Accessible for many different skill levels and ages. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

As this was my third time visiting a glacier in Iceland (my first two trips were to Vatnajökull), this tour was by far the most enjoyable. It felt much easier, with less hiking on uneven and slippery ice. The Sleipnir truck can drive directly on the glacier and takes you very close to the ice cave, which made the experience even more comfortable. We also had a Canadian guide who shared fascinating insights about Iceland’s landscapes and folklore. 5/5 – highly recommended!

This trip up to Langjökull with Sleipnir Tours was absolutely fantastic in every way. It’s amazing to sit in that large, custom-built red truck in such comfortable seats and hardly feel the rough terrain at all—the experience is almost like sitting on your sofa at home. Both the guide and the driver were excellent, which played a big part in making the trip so memorable. The guide shared entertaining stories connected to the surroundings we were traveling through. Safety was also clearly a top priority, both during the drive and inside the ice cave. I wholeheartedly recommend taking a tour with Sleipnir Tours up onto the glacier.

My teenagers and I agreed that this was the best experience in our week-long Iceland adventure! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The drive to the ice cave was about 90 minutes and, because it had snowed the night before, the "road" conditions were crazy at times. Luckily, the driver was very experienced and the truck was specially designed for just this trip. The ice cave was incredible!!!! Unfortunately, we weren't able to do the second stop on the glacier due to the weather conditions...but it was still worth the tour.

An AMAZING trip, that we 100 % recomend ! The truck is so big and fun to ride, the guid tels us old Icelandic folk stories and informations about glasiers on the way to the cave. The cave was amazing and so beautiful, absolutely stuning !

Amazing experience driving over a glacier in the monster truck as well as seeing the ice cave. Unfortunately there was a bit of a snow storm on the day so visibility wasn't great to take loads of pictures. But if visibility is there the view is spectacular. Exciting part was that another truck had broken down and our truck helped tow them out. Karen was an amazing guide and Gatis was a great driver to help us cross the glacier safely!

An excellent way to explore one of Iceland's glaciers - huge monster bus! Felt very sturdy and we had absolute confidence in our driver. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we were suitably kitted out with crampons for the ice cave under the glacier. Thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience.

This trip was absolutely amazing and definitely worth doing. The adventure already starts with the ride itself, because you reach the glacier in a giant Monster Bus. The vehicle looks like something built for a polar expedition, and watching it move effortlessly over snow and ice is an experience on its own. Riding in it already feels like a real adventure. Once you arrive, you get to enter a glacier ice cave, which is something truly special. Standing inside a glacier and seeing the natural formations around you is hard to compare to anything else. It really makes you realize how powerful and raw nature is in this part of Iceland. Another big plus is how well everything is organized. The team clearly knows the entire route very well and you feel that you are in good hands the whole time, even in such a remote and extreme environment. If you’re visiting Iceland and want to experience something unique, the Monster Bus trip to the glacier and ice cave is definitely one of those unforgettable adventures. A truly incredible experience.
