Great experience and wonderful staff!! :) experience lasted a bit longer than expected but still the staff made sure that there was no rush and everything was done properly.
Thank you so much! We are thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with our wonderful staff. While the session lasted a bit longer than expected, our priority at Samurai Honor is always to ensure there is no rush and everything is done with proper care and dedication. We truly appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming you back to Osaka!
An incredible experience I could not recommend more. I chose the full package with the pictures and video and would say it was worth every penny. Each master has perfected their craft to an amazing degree that seeing each of them in action is incredible. For the full 4 hours I got to see the sights of Osaka castle, view the spectacular cherry blossoms and the learn every aspect of samurai culture. The tea ceremony was wonderful as a history lesson and also a tasting session, with the calligraphy being very personal you could feel a sense of awe in every brush stroke. With the Samurai Sword coming last for me I got to feel the weight and purpose with every strike. The staff as a whole are true masters with a real passion for their individual crafts making the entire experience fun and welcoming for me. I would go again on my next trip to Japan.
Thank you! We're thrilled the 4-hour full package and cherry blossoms at Osaka Castle were worth every penny. Our masters are honored by your praise for the tea ceremony, calligraphy, and sword training. We can't wait to welcome you back to Samurai Honor!
This was a great experience everyone should do! Our three ladies that hosted us were absolutely the best. We felt right at home with them. They all took the time to explain everything and didn't rush us with anything. Our tea master was the best, she showed us exactly how it is all done and gave us a great history of the tea ceremony. We also tried on the Samurai armor and had a wonderful time learning about the Samurai and the Bushido way. This was the best money we spent with the most welcoming and wonderful Japanese women. Thank you a million times over!
Thank you! Our three hosts and the tea master are thrilled you felt "at home." We believe the heart of Bushido is best shared without rushing, allowing guests to truly immerse themselves in the history. Knowing this was your best investment in Japan is the highest honor! You looked magnificent in the armor. We look forward to your next "visit home" to Osaka. Domo Arigato!
My family loved this. The staff at honor samurai went above and beyond. They took time to show us calligraphy, the tea ceremony, and we learned a lot about samurai in the process. They took so many wonderful pictures and sent them to us. Just a great cultural experience that I would recommend to anyone.
Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled to hear that your family had such a wonderful time with us. It was a true pleasure sharing the world of calligraphy, the tea ceremony, and the spirit of the samurai with all of you. We are glad you enjoyed the photos! Capturing those special moments for our guests is something we love to do. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you and your family back to Samurai Honor again in the future!
This was a one of a kind experience. It was the most expensive thing I booked on our trip and we were not disappointed! We loved the staff and all the time they took with us. My favorite part was the was the calligraphy!
My friend, that you found it a truly unique experience and were not disappointed is most delightful news indeed. To hear that even at such a high price, you felt it was well worth every penny, I am truly honored. That you particularly enjoyed the calligraphy, I am also delighted to hear. Incidentally, at SamuraiHonor, our staff are fluent in English and take ample time to guide and explain things to foreign guests. It seems they have a style of adding the samurai-style suffix "gozaru" to their speech. I imagine that hospitality also left a deep impression on you. I pray that your travels, always seeking such sincere and heartfelt experiences, will become ever more fulfilling.
I had an amazing time, everyone was nice, very informative and guided me through the process with great patience. I did the colligraphy, the tea ceremony, cutting the bamboo and made the trip to Osaka castle in samurai armour and i enjoyed every single one!!!
Oh, what a truly delightful experience that was. Practicing calligraphy and tea ceremony, cutting bamboo, and even donning samurai armor to visit Osaka Castle—you truly spent time deeply savoring the honor of being a warrior. That the kindness, knowledge, and patient guidance of everyone left an impression on your heart is a joy to me as well. Let us continue to proudly pass on that spirit of bushido.
The Samurai experience (tea ceremony, calligraphy, sword use and samurai armour) were all excellent. A relaxed tea ceremomy, finding out information as you go; a calligraphy lesson with a large piece to take home; cutting with a real sword and load of pictures taken throughout. Well worth it!
Dear Nick, Thank you very much for your compliments. Since your day was so busy, we regret for you, you waited a little. But, if you enjoyed our experience with your nice father, we’re happy. I really feel happy you could relax for tea ceremony and big performance calligraphy. Both of you were great. I felt also so happy to spend the time with you. Thanks a lot. Much happiness in your future. Regards to your father, too. Kaori

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and kindness were outstanding. The hosts made us feel completely welcome and created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The samurai sword training was a true highlight — exciting, engaging, and authentic.
