Caminhada na Cachoeira La Leona Um passeio privado e íntimo pela trilha mais incomum até a Cachoeira La Leona. O dia consiste em uma caminhada moderada de 2 horas ao longo das águas azuis do Rio Blanco, localizadas nas profundezas dos cânions do vulcão Rincón de la Vieja, onde você observará a vida selvagem com seu guia local ao longo do caminho. Você será conduzido pelo caminho sombreado que sobe o rio, parando em 5 piscinas diferentes e passando por um cânion de pedra, cavernas e pequenas cachoeiras até chegar à entrada do cânion que leva à cachoeira La Leona. Aqui você coloca suas coisas em um saco seco para pular na água e nadar um pouco até a cachoeira. A cachoeira tem uma praia de pedras em frente onde você pode tirar fotos. Há também uma ótima piscina para brincar. Guia turístico local profissional e almoço estilo costarriquenho incluídos Importante: As trilhas têm muitas pedras e raízes. Existem trechos que envolvem natação e travessia do rio. Coletes salva-vidas são fornecidos.

Um tour privado íntimo ao longo de um dos caminhos mais fora do caminho batido para La Leona Waterfall. Desfrute de uma caminhada moderada de 2 horas ao lado das águas azuis do Río Blanco, nas profundezas dos cânions do Vulcão Rincón de la Vieja. Ao longo do caminho, seu Guia local ajudará você a detectar a vida selvagem enquanto explora trilhas sombreadas, 5 piscinas naturais, um cânion de pedra, cavernas e pequenas cachoeiras antes de chegar à entrada do cânion em La Leona. No canyon, você colocará seus pertences em um saco seco, depois nadará uma curta distância até a cachoeira. Aproveite a praia de pedra, tire fotos e relaxe na piscina antes do almoço. Recomendado para crianças de 4 anos e acima. Os pais devem usar sua discrição com base nas habilidades e nível de conforto de seus filhos. Este passeio é para caminhantes sem lesões físicas atuais ou preocupações de saúde. O caminho tem muitas rochas e raízes, com seções envolvendo natação e cruzeiros de rio. Não recomendamos este passeio para qualquer pessoa desconfortável na água. Vestidos de salvação são fornecidos.

Our family hike with our guide Alejandro was the BEST! We opted for self drive & the team made it easy to find them at the pick up spot. We had an incredible time thanks to Alejandro’s experience and knowledge of the waterfall and hiking paths as well as his sense of humor and Pura Vida vibes. Magda was awesome as well and had an incredible lunch waiting for us afterward. Showers to change in are nearby and super clean too. TY Alejandro & Magda!

We really enjoyed our tour with Ro as our guide. Magda was so nice too and the lunch after that she set up was delicious and fun and a good value. The actual tour with Ro was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable and really seems to enjoy being in the forest. He showed us many plants and animals that we would have walked right by and taught us a lot. He is also an experienced canyoner. He was patient and genuine and fun to be around. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Thank you Ro and Magda!

This was a wonderful experience. Note all the things they ask for you can leave on your car or at the starting point. We took it with us and would have loved if someone told us we could have left it. It was alot to carry. The views were beautiful, our guide Alejandro was great. The food was delicious too and the juice was so refreshing. We are so happy we made the 2.5 hr drive for this experience

Meet up spot was easy to find. We were the only two people going at our time. Magda met us there, where we signed waivers and loaded into a truck that drove to the start of the tour. If given the choice, take their truck, it is a rough road. Alejandro was our guide. Speaks English fluently. Took many pictures and videos of us and shared some fun facts, such as the killer tree and banging on the hollow tree. Hike was intermediate difficulty. Alejandro offered a helping hand at slippery spots. River crossings are assisted by a rope. Rock climbs are assisted by short ladders. I wore tennis shoes and my girlfriend wore water shoes; we were both comfortable. The waterfall at the end was a great payoff. We were the only ones there and swam freely around the waterfall. The water was a comfortable temperature and neither of us were cold. The provided lunch offered a choice of meat (pork, beef, or fish) and fried plantain chips, rice, black beans, small salad, and fresh mango juice from the nearby mango trees (which was delicious!). I didn't get any bug bites, but my girlfriend got a few. Would recommend some bug spray beforehand. The hike itself is shaded, so no need for sunblock. Overall, was a very fun experience, and would highly recommend for anybody looking for a more intimate waterfall tour where you can get right up in the waterfall.

Last minute adventure we signed up the day before and lucky for us, we had Jason as our guide and we had all his attention as we were the only 2 people he had for the day! Jason was very knowable, sweet and very kind! He made sure of our safety and let us take our time. Lunch was great and delicious! Awesome experience 😊! Shout out to Jason and Magda 🥰
This was our favorite hike we have ever done! We were in great hands with Jorge G. as our driver. He shared lots of info and was so friendly. Jason was our hike guide and he was so nice and funny. We had a great time and highly recommend doing this excursion!!
I went with my 22 year old son & we had a great time! Nata (Nathaniel) was our guide and he did a fantastic job of giving us information about the area & keeping us safe! We drove ourselves to the meeting point & then got into one of their vehicles which took us to the start of the hike. We hiked for maybe 45 minutes to an hour to get to La Leona. Along the way we had to cross the river a couple of times. You WILL get wet! You have to walk across mid-calf depth water and then chest deep water. You also have to swim the last part to get to the falls. There is a guide rope to help with this. There are also a couple of small ladders to climb along the trail. The waterfall itself is beautiful! & the water is so much cooler than the ocean. After a hike, it was very refreshing! After hiking back, we had an opportunity to change clothes & then had a typical costa-rican lunch - meat, rice, beans, vegetables & salad. In total, since we drove ourselves, it was about 3 hours. It was not crowded at the falls but we passed many groups heading there when we were leaving. On the way out, we got to jump off of a couple of rocks into the deep pools below which was a lot of fun too! I would definitely do this again! My son loved this too!
