Our driver and tour guide Don was not only very pleasant but extremely knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. He showed up on time, and showed great care and concern for guests during the tour. The van was very clean and well stocked with bottled water and snacks. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Don as the tour guide.
Stephanie was our tour guide for the day. She was delightful and we had an amazing time touring Hatcher Pass and the Reindeer Farm! It was so much fun! We had a private tour, too, which was unexpected but made for an incredible experience! Highly recommend!!!
Great tour! Reindeer Farm was pretty cool. Got to feed so many different animals, which I didn’t expect. The guided tour was informative. Hatcher’s Pass was stunning as were the other stops along the way. Iditarod Trail was an unexpected surprise and experiencing a very short dog ride. Tour guide Stephanie was sweet and accommodating. Excellent tour! Highly recommended
Melissa. Thanks so much for choosing our Hatcher Pass Reindeer and Wildlife Tour. So glad you enjoyed the day! Also appreciate your taking the time to share your experience! We hope to see you in Alaska again.
Guide was wonderful quite knowledgeable and so easy to understand everything he stopped at various sites with hidden secrets was awesome go on this tour you will truly enjoy
I had a great day with our tour guide Davis. We first went to a reindeer farm where we saw multiple critters - not just reindeer. Llamas, alpacas, those fluffy cows ( that I acer remember the name) moose, reptiles a pig etc, The staff handed out treats to give to the animals. The farm was more than I expected ( I'd go again) the rest of the day was a I am driving now. I will text you later up into Hatcher Pass - beautiful. Pictures truly don't do it justice. Snacks and water were available and we did stop at a quaint cafe for lunch. Davis was informative and friendly. Highly recommend him and this tour
Judy. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. We'll definitely pass along the nice comments to Davis. He is a gem. I agree. We LOVE the Reindeer Farm. Appreciate your taking time to share your experience too. Jen
What a fun day this was!! The scenery was amazing, and the animals were freaking adorable. It was such an amazing day all around and the perfect way to kick off our trip to Alaska. Highly recommended, and Davis was a FANTASTIC host and guide!
Alex, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience. So glad you had a great day with Davis and were able to enjoy all the animals. We love the Reindeer Farm and Dog Sledding Experience at the Iditarod!
Ended up having a private tour with Davis and had a great experience! The Reindeer Farm was so much fun and even tho an avalanche in Hatcher’s Pass limited how far we could drive, we still were able to go quite a ways up the pass and enjoy the amazing views and the snow! Davis was very knowledgeable and created a wonderful day for us!
Carolyn, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We love the Reindeer too! We've worked diligently to curate unique and personalized experiences for our guests. So glad you had a great day with Davis. Thank you also for taking the time to share your review.
Our tour guide Davis was excellent. My 14 yr old daughter and I were the only ones who booked this experience. Instead of canceling, he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We went way up to Hatcher Pass, the views were incredible. The actual Pass was closed for the season, so we did some other exploring on the mountain. After we came back to Anchorage he went out of his way to take us to a spot were we could see Denali in the distance! It was a super clear day, it was excellent. We had a great time thanks to him, I'm so glad he didn't cancel on us.
Jana. Thanks so much for booking our tour and taking the time to share your experience. We are a small family owned company and truly care about each and every guest. We never cancel tours for even 2 guests as we know that booking a tour in Alaska might be a once in a lifetime experience! I'm so glad you all had. great day :) Hope you have fond memories of Alaska! Cheers, James
Decisions made by Davis, our driver, made the trip a great experience given that the day started off rainy. Hatcher Pass was lovely even if we had to catch the views between the clouds rolling by. The guide at the reindeer farm knew each of the animals well and was very informative. Overall a great day.
Thanks so much for choosing our Hatcher Pass Wildlife Tour. We'll pass along the kind words to Davis as well. Glad you had a great day! Best, James
Our guide said few people take this tour. We are so glad we made time for it. The reindeer farm is interesting, but the real highlight is the views. Most day trips out of Anchorage go around Turnagain Arm. This tour goes north, offering a completely different experience. We saw stunning tundra and mountains instead of rainforest and coastline. Our guide clearly knows and loves the area. This was one of our favorite days. Don't miss the chance to see a beautiful and fascinating part of Alaska.
Grace, Thank you so much for choosing our Hatcher Pass Tour. We agree. We LOVE to share this unique part of Alaska. It's not as popular as going South, but our favorite spot as locals :) So appreciate your taking the time to share your experience. Hope you continue to enjoy your Alaskan experience. Warm Regards, James
