Uma viagem pelos sabores de Verona e pela culinária italiana com o seu guia local, seja em inglês ou italiano. Começamos numa loja de charcutaria para provar uma seleção de presuntos e queijos curados acompanhados de patês de legumes. Como as azeitonas crescem extensivamente na área, pararemos na lagararia local para experimentar uma bruschetta e aprender tudo sobre ela. Na próxima parada, provaremos 3 chocolates italianos icônicos e descobriremos mais sobre como eles são feitos. Verona é famosa por seus vinhos tintos Valpolicella. Faremos uma pausa na sala de degustação da Saibante, uma vinícola que produz menos de 15.000 garrafas por ano. Não apenas provaremos, mas também desvendaremos os segredos de sua fabricação. Enquanto caminhamos pelo centro histórico da UNESCO Verona, os guias compartilharão histórias, tradições e cultura da cidade. A parada final será na loja da família que desde 1909 produz Pandoro, o bolo mais famoso de Verona. Venha com fome, animado para aprender coisas novas e pronto para explorar os sabores de Verona.

Nossa primeira parada será na área de Castelvecchio, em uma delicatessen local para provar uma seleção de presuntos, queijos e patês de vegetais da Sicília.
Depois de uma curta caminhada pelas ruas pitorescas de Verona, pararemos na loja do lagar Redoro. O lago Garda mantém o clima perfeito para o cultivo de azeitonas, então saboreie uma bruschetta com este ouro líquido e 2 patês.
Verona é famosa por seus vinhos Valpolicella, onde está localizada a vinícola Corte Saibante. Produzem menos de 10.000 garrafas por ano mantendo uma elevada qualidade. Pararemos na sala de degustação perto da Arena, onde um sommelier explicará e servirá 2 degustações de Valpolicella
Passaremos pela Piazza Erbe para parar na loja da família que produz e vende Pandoro, o bolo mais famoso de Verona. Venha com fome e pronto para explorar os sabores de Verona!
O passeio não irá parar na Casa de Julieta, mas passaremos nas proximidades. A casa foi usada como hotel na época de Dickens.

Jacopo was very knowledgable and friendly and we had a great time. We were a family of 4 with a 22 year old and 14 year old. Learnt lots about the history of Verona. Would highly recommend this tour

Manuela was a wonderful guide who shared insights about Verona and its food culture. We visited small shops with food/drink/sweets specific to Verona and the region. We especially appreciated that even though the tour did not fill up ( only the two of us + Manuela), he did not cancel for whatever reason, as so often happens. We highly recommend the tour. We are not used to good wine and after three glasses we were high... anyway in the end it went well and we all went home happy

Our guide, Leonardo was fantastic! It was only my wife and me on the tour but that didn’t throw him. Leonardo was very knowledgable about Verona and the food and wine from the area. While there were not as many tastings as other tours we’ve taken, we learned a lot about the items and how they fit into Verona’s food history. The walk around town was also very informative. We really felt coming away from the tour that we certainly got our money’s worth and spent a few very pleasant hours learning about Verona.

This was not as good as other food walks I've taken in other cities, but it was fun. Our first stop, an olive oil tasting on bruschetta, was not informative at all, but the oils were interesting and different. The candy stop was an intense rapid overload of sugar with hardly any information. Our cake stop wasn't a stop, it was a pick-up and eat in the street, again, with no information. Our final stop we actually learned a bit about the two wines, but nothing more about the meats and cheeses than their straightforward descriptions. As we walked through Verona our guide pointed out a few historical points of interest. While we had a very good time with our guide and the other guests, the food choices didn't thrill us.

Unfortunately, the guide that was there was substituting our main guide who had an accident, so that is why the informative part was lacking. But now our main guide is back! And thank you for your feedbacks about the food too. Anyway, we're waiting for you on our other tours!
