An unfortunate cancellation to Grand Turk occurred on our cruise ship August 14th, 2026. We had scheduled a snorkeling excursion with this company and we found out very late the night before our ship would not go into port. We contacted Grand Turk reef and snorkeling regarding this cancellation and within less than 3 hours our money was refunded! What great customer service. I know not all companies would do this, but if we ever get to make it back to this port they would be our go to! Thanks for the understanding!
Cruise schedules are part of island tourism, and sometimes the opportunity to welcome guests to Grand Turk changes before they ever reach our shores. As a small family business on a remote island, treating every reservation with fairness and care reflects the hospitality that generations of local families have extended to those planning to visit our home. Guest voices remain incredibly powerful for locally owned businesses, even when an excursion never has the opportunity to leave the shoreline. Sharing an experience like this supports the families behind these businesses and helps our island community continue welcoming future generations of travelers to Grand Turk. 🤎
Too much money for too little of an experience. They didn't give us a meet up time other than saying... please leave the ship as soon as you can. However, we arrived and had to wait an hour and a half after the ten minute walk to find them. The two guys on the boat were friendly. We could not see much because of the visibility wasn't good and some people had to go back to the boat because the waves were too rough and the current was too strong. My friends on the boat that got off the boat and snorkeled from the beach saw a load of beautiful fish and some coral for free. I wish we would have done that.
This was a fantastic experience in the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen! Our guides were very helpful and knowledgeable! We snorkeled the reef right at the drop off, and I can’t put into words how magical it was to see God’s work!
The reef surrounding Grand Turk has inspired wonder for generations, with crystal-clear waters that have shaped both the island’s identity and the lives of the families who call it home. Sharing that beauty with visitors is a privilege rooted in our maritime traditions and deep connection to the sea. As a small family business on a remote island, your words help support the families, culture, and heritage that continue to shape our community. 💚
It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The captain was amazing . We had such a blast with our friends on this excursion!

The caption and his crew all very nice and helpful. We did the two reef snorkel. Both spots the fish and other sea life amazing. Fish were amazing so many and so many different kinds. They swam all around you and up to you. All in all this was a really good experience, I would do it again and recommend it. Our Caption was Duane from. CHUKKA TOURS. THE PORT AT GRAND TURK was nice, plenty of stores to choose from and coffee shop.John Glenn splashed down near the turks, nice tribute to him and NASA .
Time spent on the reefs of Grand Turk offers a glimpse into waters that have sustained and shaped island life for generations. Seeing marine life move freely through these seas reflects the ocean environment that local captains have known and navigated throughout their lives. Beyond the water, Grand Turk’s history, from maritime traditions to its connection with the early space program, remains woven into the identity of the island. As a small family business on a remote island, your words help support the households, culture, and ocean heritage that continue to be shared with visitors who come to experience this special part of the Caribbean. 🤎
This was a fun snorkeling experience for my family and I to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from high school. The captain was so much fun. The crew was very friendly very knowledgeable. They took safety very serious. I highly recommend. Much better than booking through the cruise.
Celebrating a graduation in the waters of Grand Turk creates the kind of memory families carry for years to come. Time spent snorkeling, learning from local ocean knowledge, and experiencing the sea through those raised around it reflects traditions connected to island life for generations. Maintaining awareness and respect for the water is always part of how these excursions are guided, especially in an environment shaped daily by Mother Nature. As a small family business on a remote island, your words help support the households, culture, and heritage connected to these waters and experiences. 💜
The entire experience was nice, educational, and funnnnnnn. The guides were so helpful with feeding and petting the stingrays.
Sharing time beside stingrays and learning about the waters of Grand Turk brings together ocean knowledge, island traditions, and experiences that have been part of local culture for generations. Creating days that feel educational while still full of fun is something our family values deeply. On a remote island where small businesses rely heavily on guest support, perspectives like yours help sustain the culture, heritage, and connection to the sea that continue to shape life here. 💜
Easy to find from the cruise port. They adjust times for the ships arrival. Crew was super friendly. Luckily everyone else in our group booked their other tour that included Gibbs Cay and conch diving so we got to tag along for that. I highly suggest booking that longer tour. It is worth it.
Finding your way from the cruise port and stepping into a day shaped around ship arrivals reflects how closely everything here moves with the rhythm of the island and the sea. Time spent experiencing conch brought up from the water, prepared fresh, and visiting Gibbs Cay with stingrays moving freely connects directly to traditions carried through generations. On a remote island where tourism supports our family and others connected to these waters, your words hold meaningful importance and help sustain the culture and experiences we continue to share. 🧡
The directions to find the meeting place did not clearly state the name of the contracted company, and I couldn't find the meeting place. No one else seemed to know where Viatour met either.
A BIG hello from Grand Turk, Excursion mornings in Grand Turk begin with movement. Captains make their way to the dock, guides gather their groups, and boats depart according to the rhythms that have shaped island life for generations. This island remains a place where relationships, landmarks, and local knowledge still guide much of daily life. The shoreline is familiar to those who have spent their lives upon it and entirely new to those arriving for only a few hours. Every prepared seat carries expectation. When a guest and an excursion never find one another, two experiences are created at the same time: one of a traveler who missed an adventure and another of a local crew that spent the morning waiting to share it. A review written after returning home reaches places it may never intend to. On a small island, those words touch family businesses, local livelihoods, and the people who continue preparing their boats each morning in hopes of welcoming the next arrival. Every author decides the story their words will leave behind. — Exclusive Escapes Grand Turk
Great tour. Great experience. Staff was very helpful and willing to help those who were snorkeling for the first time. Tasting the ceviche made on the way back made the boat experience feel complete. One piece of advise is to Use a lot of sunscreen as there are no shades on the Gibbs Cay.
