We found the pier and I asked if we are in the correct spot. The guy pointed to his shirt and said stand there. It felt rude. The boat ride was nice and they provided a little information in several different languages. The glass blowing was pretty and interesting to watch. It felt like a well oiled machine to entertain and get you in the store to spend money. We walked around and most shops carried the same items. We boarded the boat and went to Murano to see the lace. It felt very touristy. The island is small. I would make my own arrangements to both of these islands. You don’t need a guide in my opinion. The islands are beautiful and worth a visit.
The tour lasts 4.5 hours, not 2.5 hours as stated in the announcement. He stays just a little free time on each island.
Well organized clean and comfortable boat, tour guide on the boat very prepared, great service in Murano with visit to the Glassworks + excellent glassworks, beautiful Burano, maybe there should be a little more time to turn it around.
A mini cruise that allows you to have information while sailing. Very nice demonstration of the master glassmaker; the stop in Murano allows you to see the demonstration and visit the shop
Grazie per la sua bella recensione! Siamo felici che l’esperienza sia stata positiva e speriamo di riaverla presto con noi per scoprire ancora le meraviglie della laguna veneziana!
We had a wonderful time visiting Burano and Murano. We especially enjoyed the guide telling us about what we were seeing on our way there. Highly suggest this tour.
Thank you for your lovely review! We're happy you enjoyed your experience and hope to welcome you back soon to explore even more of the wonders of the Venetian lagoon!
It's packed there were no seats for us half the time. Couldn't hear much. The glass blowing was fun but was rushed.
The Murano exhibition was interesting. A little bit more time was needed to see the rest of the island. Burano was nice.
We decided to do these two Islands and skip the Tourcello one as we had heard it was mainly churches and buildings which I think we would have enjoyed but our Teenagers would have been bored. This trip was fantastic from beginning to end. We had the option of sitting below deck or on the top. As we were all already sunburnt, we chose to sit below. They were very clear with speaking in four different languages and gave us loads of interesting facts as we passed other islands. In Murano we got to see glass making in action which after watching on Netflix, in person was even better. Then we had a little walk around the famous glass factory before we set off to Burano. Burano was my absolute favourite. So beautiful. I would have stayed there forever. We had a bit of lunch before returning to Venice. Next time we hope to spend longer in Burano.
Very hard to hear what is being said by the tour guide if you’re sitting on the upper deck. It would have been nice if the guide waited for everyone to get off the boat in Burano before walking towards the location for the lace making demonstration. She was gone when I got off the boat and many people were confused so went different directions so you couldn’t figure out which way to go. Clearer signs, like a person holding something with the tour group name on it, would make it a lot easier to figure out which boat is the right one, as there are many boats at the listed meeting point.
Very bad company, we went to the location but we couldn't find them, we tried to call them 100 times, nobody answered
