Normally, I like to tour sites on my own. Sometimes I enjoy a big bus tour to prime sites. Neither of these are viable options in Tunis. You must go on a private (or really small group) tour to see the sites. The roads are small and the sites are poorly marked. We were so lucky to have a top quality licensed guide and driver. Imen was simply fabulous. She knew all the ins-and-outs of Carthage, Medina, and Sidi Bou Said. She was able to read us to determine how much walking and stopping we needed in the 37C/100F weather. Imen knew all the history of the area and was fun to quiz about the details and was so easy to talk to. Highly recommended! Don’t bother coming to Tunis unless you have a private tour and a guide like Imen lined up.

We spent a pleasant day as a couple in Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. The organization was clear and the pace of the visit adapted, without feeling rushed. The driver was punctual and the vehicle comfortable. We enjoyed visiting the ruins of Carthage and the beauty of the village of Sidi Bou Said, with its white houses and charming alleys. It was a beautiful discovery, simple and pleasant.
⸻ We took this family excursion (2 adults and 2 children) and we keep an excellent memory. The visit of Tunis was very interesting, especially the medina with its small streets full of charm. The ruins of Carthage were impressive and the guide was able to explain the story in a simple way so that even the children could understand and appreciate it. Favourite for Sidi Bou Said with its white and blue houses and magnificent sea views. Top organization, comfortable transport and very professional guide. We highly recommend this excursion for families who want to discover the essentials in a stress-free day.
We booked Signature Travel & Events for our transfers and tours for 2 days for 14 people. Transfers were ok but Tours didn't go very well when the tour guide become very unprofessional and unfriendly especially on day 2 of our tour. Was rushing all time, we were promised the whole day tour but brought us back just after 4pm without enough time to see the places around. Driving was careless/over speeding and we felt unsafe in the van on both days!
We would like to respectfully clarify a few important points regarding your experience. First, the guide remained professional and committed throughout the tour. The group began the day around 10:30 AM, which significantly reduced the time available to complete the scheduled visits. During the month of Ramadan, many service providers operate on limited hours and are unavailable later in the day. In order to complete the full daily program, it was necessary to manage time efficiently and maintain a steady pace during the visits. Regarding the second day, the guide was not negligent. However, he was genuinely disappointed by certain behaviors that affected the overall experience. Food was consumed inside the vehicle over both days despite several polite requests to avoid doing so. This resulted in strong odors inside the vehicle, to the point where the windows had to be opened despite unfavorable weather conditions. Additionally, waste was repeatedly left behind in the vehicle after use. These circumstances created discomfort for both the guide and the driver. Concerning the lunch arrangement in Kelibia at 1:00 PM, the guide made exceptional efforts to accommodate the request. He coordinated with a well-known restaurant whose owner had to leave his home, purchase fresh fish directly from the fishing port, and open the restaurant especially for the group despite Ramadan closures. Unfortunately, after these arrangements were made, the lunch was canceled just before being served, which placed the guide in a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. Finally, the driver aimed to respect the scheduled timing of each visit. Due to repeated delays, he had to adjust his driving pace to ensure arrival on time and maintain the integrity of the program. Our team always strives to deliver a professional and well-organized experience while ensuring respect for schedules, service providers, and all parties involved.
