I am not a fan of Frida and accompanied my girlfriend. Ultimately, I found the house very interesting and would like to watch her movie as well. The prices are too high for me. Especially for children.
I made my reservation for 3:30 pm, one day before they called me to change the time to 1:30 pm, but I received a mail that it was 3:30, so I arrived at 2:30 and lost my tickets. I tried to contact someone at the agency, I even sent a mail, but there was no answer. The price of the tickets was heavily overpriced and I lost them. I want a full refund, or another day to visit the museum.
Ok ,first it's wasnt a tour , they just let us in to walk around the place , second they kept making me take my hat off ,no rules or signs saying I couldn't wear it. The only saving grace was the house its self. I would have liked an actual tour
It was easy to reserve tickets. Customer Service was responsive and tickets arrived on time.
While in line, a not very friendly employee told us that if we didn't have a ticket we could buy them at the entrance because all tickets were sold out but curiously I was able to purchase them online through Viator.
Very interesting. Its the actual house she lived in. The exhibits are nice, as they give a glimpse into her life, in a nice concise way, and the courtyard in the middle of the house is beautiful. Learned lots. I'm not even a huge fan and I enjoyed it. If u have a wife, partner that likes her, you have to do it. They'll LOVE it
It was not our first time at the Frida Kahlo Museum; however, it was for my brother, his wife, and her friend who was traveling with them. Despite a little wait, we quickly entered the museum, which had very interesting exhibits from Kahlo's life. The facilities were very well maintained, making the visit very pleasant.
I had a terrible experience with the agency. They said our ticket was for 3:30 PM. When we arrived at the museum, they did not let us in because the tickets were not available; when we called the agency, they did nothing. It was a terrible experience, and we spent $200 or a little more.
El museo es muy estricto, con los horarios de entrada lo cual se menciona en la publicación, la ventana de tolerancia es de 15 minutos, usted llego 1:45 hrs tarde, esa es la razón de que el museo le negara la entrada. Saludos.
Booked my CDMX trip on a whim 5 days before traveling and was happy to be able to make the sold out museum!
Everything went wonderfully for me. I booked the ticket in the morning and immediately received a confirmation email. Between 9 and 10 AM, I received the entry ticket with the QR code for admission to the museum online via email and WhatsApp. The museum is a must-see and must-experience. Even 70 years after Frida Kahlo's death, this place is a vibrant location with a very personal, life-affirming atmosphere. It feels as if she still lives there and just stepped out for a quick shopping trip.
