Fotoshooting Mercado de Natal Viena

We booked a 1-hour photoshoot advertised as including high-quality editing and beauty retouching, with 20–30 final images. Unfortunately, the final results did not meet our expectations. Many of the photos were noticeably soft and lacked clarity, especially when zooming in. Facial details were not sharp, and the overall quality did not feel consistent with what we expect from a professional photoshoot. Out of the full gallery, we only truly liked about 10-13 images. After reaching out to the photographer, he explained that the softness was a deliberate artistic choice, as he works without flash to preserve atmosphere. While we respect his artistic vision, this approach was never communicated prior to booking. Had we known this in advance, we would have chosen a different photographer whose style aligned more closely with our expectations. We travel frequently and hire photographers regularly, including for nighttime shoots, and this was the first time we experienced such an issue. Communication was polite, but resolution took time and ultimately did not feel satisfactory. This review is not meant to discredit the photographer’s artistic work, but rather to share our honest experience as clients. If sharp facial detail and crisp images are important to you, we recommend clarifying expectations very clearly before booking.

I had such a fun time with this Christmas market photo shoot in Vienna! There was a lot of communication before the shoot which kept me comfortable and gave me some great information to be prepared. I was nervous because this isn't anything I have done before, but the photographer made me feel at ease and was very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for beautiful photos of your time in Vienna.
