This is one of those truly special experiences that you almost want to keep secret. While the drive to the hot springs is a bit of a journey, the peace and tranquility waiting for you there make it completely worth it. We loved the stops at the local market and tortilla factory along the way, and how Tony personalized the experience by letting us help choose the fresh fruits and vegetables for the snacks and lunch he prepared — all of which was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect escape from the busy energy of the city. Spending a few quiet hours relaxing in nature and unwinding in our private pool was incredibly refreshing, and sharing fresh food and conversation with Tony made the experience feel even more meaningful. The massages on the way back were the perfect finishing touch, allowing us to stay relaxed just a little longer before returning to PV. Throughout the entire day, Tony added thoughtful little touches that showed how much he genuinely cares about creating a unique, personal, and memorable experience for his guests.
The best experience of the vacation to Puerto Vallarta. Charming and knowledgeable host, beautiful destination, and a much needed massage. I loved getting a glimpse into the life of the locals and picking out the produce we would enjoy later. The hot springs were relaxing and a break from the bustle of downtown PV. This is a highly recommended experience.
The activities were very well organized. Everything that was planned happened as advertised. Would recommend.
It was a nice educational and relaxing day. It was fun to see different areas of PV. The host is gracious and accommodating. He Made a delicious lunch and thought of every detail for the trip. If you like off the beaten path adventures. This one is a must.
Amazing day! In our top 2 experiences that we had in PV. Tony was an awesome guide and great chef. We loved learning a little more about regional history on the drive, stopping at a small local market and tortilla factory, relaxing at the hot springs, and our massage on the beach. The hot spring pools were easy to adjust temperature-wise, especially since we didn’t want it too hot! It was definitely something we wouldn’t have found on our own. We will definitely be recommending this to any of our friends who travel to the area. Thank you so much, Tony!
I was a little concerned about the heat and doing hot springs plus massage on a hot beach but we did this at the end of April and it was perfect weather and shaded everywhere we stayed for any time. It was wonderful to have this experience with Jose as our guide!
This was a perfect “off the beaten track” day of pampering. Perfect for checking out and gifting yourself a day. Beautiful natural hotsprings, spectacular lunch grilled by our host Jose. All this and a massage on the beach! Wonderful!
This was a unique and special day trip. Starting with a stop to pick out fresh fruits and vegetable and visit to a fresh tortilla shop. The hot springs are very remote and you get to see some local farming communities. The pools are very warm and relaxing. We enjoyed a delicious grilled lunch and then on to a nice beach massage. Our host was so friendly and gave us knowledge about the area. Be prepared for a lot of driving but you can take a nap!
What a treat to spend a day discovering so much that the area has to offer. We never would have been able to curate a day so diverse and engaging without Jose’s intentional planning. We started our day choosing the best fresh produce and had the most delicious avocado tacos with piping hot fresh-off-the-line tortillas, the only way to start a day, it turns out. Jose shared about the history of the area as we traveled into the beautiful rural hills and enjoyed hours soaking in the healing spring, where each group is treated to their own soaking pool and the option of a mud mask. The multi-course meal made on the grill was our favorite of our week here, so delicious and full of our market bounty - not to mention the perfectly timed fruit plate and fresh guacamole that were delivered just as the idea of snacking came to mind. Finishing the day with a massage and sweet treat made for a perfect ending to an amazing day. The clear communication about what to expect prepared us for each stage of our journey and made it easy to transition and enjoy every activity. We’ll do this excursion any time we visit and can’t wait to try the other adventure offerings!
This was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation day that my boyfriend and I shared in Puerto Vallarta. Though each day has become an incredible memory, we agree that this activity was the best. The hot springs are lovely, with a natural mud mask offered to those who want it (don’t miss this, my skin became as smooth as the day I was born). The grilled lunch was incredible, and the beach massage was FIRM! These massage therapists knew what was up. The only down side, for those sensitive to long drives: there is about 2.5-3 hours in the car for this day. It is well broken up, with lots of stops for coffee/bathroom breaks, & activities. You do need to drive to get to the park with the springs, so it was well worth it for us. Bring a book if you don’t get carsick, or sleep. The travel flew by for us.
