We had a fantastic experience on the Downtown Vallarta Food Tour! Bernardo was an outstanding guide—friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. Along with introducing us to some delicious local food, he shared fascinating stories about Puerto Vallarta’s history and culture that made the tour especially memorable. The food at every stop was excellent, and the tour was a wonderful way to experience the city beyond the usual tourist areas. Bernardo’s knowledge and enthusiasm truly made the day special. One helpful tip for future guests: bring some extra pesos in case you would like to purchase additional juices, drinks, or food items from the restaurant and juice-stand vendors along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend Bernardo and Vallarta Food Tours!
We had an amazing experience on this food tour! Our host, Silvia, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She shared interesting information throughout the tour and made the whole experience fun and engaging. We stopped at several places and enjoyed so many delicious foods along the way. It was a great way to explore the local food scene, and we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Joana was awesome. She knows so much about Vallarta and each establishment - the family history was very interesting and how long the place had been in business. At all the stops, the food was out of this world and the portions were very generous. One definitely gets so much more in value and experience than the price of the tour!!

This is actually the second time I’ve done this tour. Both times we were lucky enough to get Silvia. She truly is so fun, knowledgeable and a great personality. I appreciated that we actually went to a few different places. She was actually so memorable from 2021 that we saw her leading a tour in January when we stopped off here for the day. We saw her and both said you led our group. Hope when we do another tour with the company we can have her again.
This food tour is fantastic! The stops are delicious, tour guide was well informed about the history as well as the overall history of PVR, and overall we truly enjoyed it.
This was a well-organized, informative, and fun tour through the cuisine of Puerto Vallarta. Our tour guide Eric (el gato gordo) was very friendly and knowledgeable, all of the stops had amazing food, and I would absolutely book this again. Keep in mind how hot it will be and bring water with you, and come hungry!
Joana was a fantastic guide! This was my favorite experience in Puerto Vallarta. The tour took us to several delicious, authentic local eateries and all the stops were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet. Big thanks to Joana for being such a kind and informative tour guide!
Al was very personable and shared interesting details about Puerta Vallarta and its history. The food was excellent and my husband is now a real fan of Mexican tacos. Our only suggestion would be to end the tour where it began to make it easier for travelers to return to their drop off points.
