The audio guide inside the Forum was really hard to follow. There are numbers posted on different things, but those numbers didn’t match the app. The place is incredible though! The web says there are multiple water fountains, but we only saw two. Bring extra water with you- especially when visiting in the hotter months. It’s amazing how some of the things here are still standing !
Confusing web site, especially for older people unable to speak with someone before allotted time period to visit
You go to the office. They procede to give you an app. I had no wifi! Plus my phone was running low. We tried the app on my hubbies phone. He uses a cane. All too much ! They didnt even walk you over to the entrance ! It was 10 min walk
Need to stand the queue to get actual tickets - why not send them directly? The multimedia video is cheap and a shame for such a place. The app is boring and doesn’t load as too many people are drawing traffic at the same time.
The collection of tickets is too far from the entrance to the park, better to buy them directly on site
Incredible sense of walking through history. The scale of ancient Rome was felt. Big crowds but easy access. The video was helpful to put names and places together. Loved the Mamertine prison.
Office far away. Organization somewhat chaotic In any case, significantly too expensive for the service offered.

First I’d like to share that we are extremely seasoned travelers who prepare for tours and follow instructions carefully. I’m sorry to share that the ‘fine print’ about exchanging the voucher for the entry ticket caused us to miss the tour. There should be a warning that this process can take 2- hours if it’s crowded! We waited in one line for 1-hour to be told to walk a mile to exchange our vouchers for tickets. It poured down rain and we did the exchange, walked back, stood in line for one more hour to be told we should be in another line. All in, we got into Palatine hill 2.5 hours after our original tour started. Pay attention to the fine print and exchange vouchers the day before if you don’t want to miss the tour
