Devido ao aquecimento global, a camada de gelo que cobre a montanha Vinicunca deu lugar às diferentes camadas de minerais acumulados, dando a estas linhas de cor impressionantes. Maravilha natural, a montanha do arco-íris é uma excursão imperdível para o Peru

Itinerário
O início da caminhada é a 4600 metros acima do nível do mar, a torre de vigia da montanha Vinicunca a 5040 metros acima do nível do mar. Cerca de 3,5 km separam os dois lugares. Demora cerca de 2 horas para se levantar. A falta de oxigênio devido à altitude dificulta a subida e não a diferença de altura. O viajante passa cerca de 30 minutos na torre de vigia. Também é possível continuar a subida por cerca de quinze minutos para poder contemplar o Vale Vermelho abaixo. Almoço no local. A descida dura cerca de 1 hora. Retorno de microônibus, chegando em Cusco por volta das 19:00.

I recently traveled to Cusco with a group of friends and we were so happy with the bookings we made with Ritisuyo. Thanks for the tip with the red valley, totally worth the extra steps :) if you have a bit more time, consider the two day version of this trip Ritisuyo offers via the ausangate - it looks amazing, but unfortunately there weren’t enough people to form a group for me to do it, so I’m spreading the word here ;)
