A Fonte de Trevi é o ponto terminal do aqueduto da Virgem, a mais famosa das fontes de Roma e a mais famosa do mundo por sua monumentalidade espetacular. Documentado na Idade Média, seu nome deriva de um nome de lugar usado na área desde meados do século XII (regio Trivii), ou da saída tripla da água da fonte original. Em 1640, por ordem do Papa Urbano VIII (1622 - 1644), em conjunto com o alargamento da praça, Gian Lorenzo Bernini projetou uma nova fonte orientada como a atual, cuja construção foi limitada à instalação de uma base de exedra com uma bacia na frente dela, inclinando-se contra os edifícios que mais tarde foram incorporados no Palácio Poli. It was very confusing to present the correct documentation to the employees. I had downloaded the tickets to my Apple Wallet like I would at any venue in America and it was not what the employees were looking for in Italy. Finally, the third person there was able to sssist.
Great experience to be so close. Wonderful pics. Totally worth it! You don’t need to purchase a ticket but worth it
Air conditioning in candy store next to fountain is a nice respite. If it's not busy the staff does not seem to be strict on entry tickets but make sure you purchase an admission ticket ahead of time. Very little access to public restrooms and very little air conditioning in Rome. magnificent place to get photos.
I arrived and it was closed. I had my reservation at 9:00 am and they say they open at 11:00 am. So I don't know if they will let me in at another time. Besides, I paid much more than what it actually costs.
This is a total waste of money. You can go right up to the fountain in the morning without needing a ticket. Even if you don’t go in the morning it’s perfectly fine to just see it from a few feet back.
Very disappointed to find that we had purchased tickets when in fact you don’t need them. Secondly, the fountains were not working and the men were cleaning the fountains which we only discovered in the small print of the tickets that were sent after booking.
Glad we purchased the pass to get closer to the fountain. The process was easy and we were able to see the fountain without a large crowd behind us!
Ticket arrived after hours and no double the price on site
Waste of money, just buy the ticket there for 2 euro. Viator should not list this as an experience!!
Viator sold us tickets for Mon, May 25, 2026 at 9am for the Trevi Fountain, As it turns out the Fountain was not even open until 11am!!!!!!! You sold us a ticket for a time that didnt exist!!!!!!!!!!!! Very poor
