We had a last minute opportunity to attend/join this experience. What an amazing introduction to footy. Attending the game with a local who was able to help explain the rules and strategies was an incredible way to experience the sport. Ben was a great host and made sure that we learned the history of the sport and enjoyed the game. This was probably our favorite ‘tour’ we did while in Melbourne and I’d recommend it to any visitor who loves sports.
This tour was very informative and fun. My family and I not only learned how Australian Football is played, we received a master class on Melbourne sports. Our guide, Ben, made the experience fun for all of us. Also, watching a game at the "G" was a remarkable experience. So glad we took this tour.
Ben is awesome flexible and knowledgeable. He is entertaining and very much interactive.
We had the best time attending the footie match with Michael. He took us on a tour of the Australian Open grounds, talked all about the different sports in Melbourne, taught us about the game and brought along a ball for us to try to kick, catch and punch the ball. Very fun! Michael is super friendly, fun, has a great laugh and smile. His love of Australia, Melbourne and sports is obvious. Many thanks for the great experience and for the tips of other things to do and see in Melbourne. GO PIES!!!
Ben was a great tour guide. We got to see all of the Melbourne sporting sights and he answered any questions we had. It was a fun and interactive day and I’d definitely recommend!
This was a perfect tour to become a part of and get a sense of the big sports side of Melbourne. Ben's passion, experience, and knowledge on Australian sports was so evident and his enthusiasm was contagious. My day included a ticket to the Boxing Day test match and for someone with no cricket background, Ben's insights on how the sport is played and what it means to Australia was a key reason I booked it. I learned so much on this tour and I'm even more eager to return one day to witness the Australian Open and other sporting events in the area. I highly recommend it!

We recently had a wonderful experience joining Ben McAuliffe on a walking tour of the famous Tennis, Cricket and Australian Rules Football venues in Melbourne. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his love of all sports, particularly Melbourne's history and status as Australia's sporting capital. This is the must do’s for your visit to Melbourne. Ben was really informative and kind. We were mind blown with the information and knowledge he shared with us. We were expecting a normal informative tour of MCG but to our surprise Ben provided us with the Boxing day match tickets for the day. This was really the best experience we’ve had in Melbourne.
