Excursão Privativa de Dia Inteiro ao Lago Humantay

Booked the Lake Humantay all day tour with Willka Travel and it did not disappoint! Breakfast and lunch were included and were delicious! Our tour guide Hilton was fantastic - very informative about the area and answered all our questions (also very funny!) The tour was well organized, beginning with being picked up at our hotel. The hike is very steep but well worth it as the views are breathtaking! Definitely a memorable experience that was the icing on the cake for our trip. If you’re going to visit Lake Humantay, definitely book with this agency - they are top notch!!

I booked Lake Humantay all day tour with Willca Travel. Since I had my cell phone service turned off due to being in a different country, I communicated with them through email and they were extremely responsive in the entire planning process, pick up and the whole journey. Hilton our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny and also spoke both English and Spanish to the entire group not leaving anyone out. Breakfast and Lunch for my standards was more than fine and the beautiful setting was icing on the cake.

My wife and I took a tour in September with the driver Julio César and the Hilton Guide. The driver drove the van safely throughout the course, always keeping the speed safe. Our guide was perfect, explaining both in English and Spanish and quite calmly the whole tour. He also escorted the group very carefully and calmly both in the mountain climb and descent. We also loved the coffee and lunch. Congratulations to you!

Just as a disclaimer, this isnt a review of Humantay Lake. That is an absolute 110% must see if you're staying in Cusco This review is for Willka Travel: We had booked a private tour with no more than 6 other individuals, had a private English speaking guide and American-style Breakfast and Lunch. First we were told that Willka would contact us about pickup location details 3 days before our trip. 24 hours before our trip we had to walk ourselves into their office in Cusco and work out the details of when and where they were to pick us up at. If we hadn't gone in I'm not confident we would have received any details. When we finally got picked up our 6 person "max" was blown out of the water, we were squeezed into a van with 16 other people. It was a bumpy, incredibly uncomfortable ride and when we stopped for 'breakfast" we were served bread and jam, hardly what I would consider "breakfast". We got to Humantay Lake and our guide was definitely not fluent in English. I wont knock him though, he tried his best to accommodate and talk and inform us about the lake and its history. He was very personable and funny, so it made the situation better. Overall, I was disappointed in the travel agency. and thought they could do more to accommodate for their mess up in putting us in a larger group than what we paid for. Edit: I finally was able to talk to them and was able to get a refund for the difference of the "private" group and "public" group

We were picked up very early from our hotel, and we traveled an average of 2 hours to a small town where we stopped for breakfast after this stop continued until the start of the road we were the first to start this hike was not so easy to get to the lagoon, if you are not in a position to do a hike I suggest you better choose another alternative, however arriving to the lagoon we had enough time to explore and how lucky we were sunny and took the opportunity to take the best photos and when we returned other agencies started arriving the groups and other agencies the descent was not so easy that we say but in the end everything went well planned our guide was always attentive to everything and our driver in the same very careful and professional way, thank you Willka Travel for the incredible tour we organized.

This company is great—they are responsive and hospitable! Rolando made sure we were all set to go even just a few hours before pick up and gave us his own mobile number just in case which was a nice, comforting touch. We went with Alex as our tour guide (a bit unexpected as our first tour guide did not make it and Alex was only supposed to drive us originally). I cannot say enough good things about Alex! I suffered from awful altitude sickness and even bought an oxygen tank. Alex kept pace with me while the other two in my group were free to venture ahead. He made me feel a lot better as I was so sick during this time and feeling very weak. Moreover he took us to a great place for breakfast and lunch and drove safely all the way up the mountain. We did the full day tour which was great as we got there early and were one of the first 5 people at the lagoon! We had it all to ourselves for an hour and Alex made great picture suggestions as well. It was also nice not having to worry about finding food as it was already paid for and reserved for us in a delicious, clean place. I would book with Willka again as everything was so smooth!
