This was a very insightful tour of the American battlefields of D-Day and a very nice tour of the American Cemetary. The guide, Raphaelle, was extremely knowledgeable of the facts of the invasion and stories of individual soldiers as they went thru this time in their lives. She is enthusiastic of her subject and loves her job. She is mindful and considerate of her clients and their needs. You will count yourself fortunate to have had Raphaelle guide you on this tour.
We had a wonderful experience with Rafael. She was knowledgeable and brought to stories to life. We had someone that was disabled and she was quite accommodating with our group and still managed to get everything in. Would highly recommend her as a guide.
Raphaelle was our guide—-just my daughter and myself—and the experience was unbelievable. Raphaelle is incredibly personable, excellent communicator, and is filled with facts that truly were amazing to listen to. She knows so much about the area and was able to speak at length about any subject re our Normansy tour with precise details, many personal regarding particular soldiers or families or nuances of the story as if she was there herself. I must say it was a wonderful experience and it far exceeded our expectations, which were already quite high.
Normandy Discovery Tours gave us an enjoyable and very moving journey from D-Day thru the end of the campaign. They were so helpful coordinating our itinerary, reservations, and accommodating the several changes we made on the spot. Our guide Noe was exceptional – enthusiastic with thorough & detailed knowledge. Our 4-day tour itinerary really brought home Overlord’s impact on France and in fact on all of Europe.
We had a very pleasant day, thank you to Noah who took us on this day with passion and humor, and thank you also for his attention to our needs. We highly recommend this way to re-discover our History. This day was perfect and perfectly adapted to what we were looking for, with the little extra in Jeep! it was a gift for my brother. Thank you to the whole team for this moment.
