David was an outstanding guide. Very knowledgeable and proud of his country and this holy site. His passion made for an excellent tour, he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. He even treated us to a bottle of holy water and a candle at the end of the tour. Thanks David!

Francisco providd an informative, thorough, and thoughtful tour. Our experience at the Basilica was greatly enhanced by sharing it with him. And the convenience of hotel pick up and drop off made the trip very manageable for first-time visitors to CDMX.
Title: A Truly Meaningful Visit to the Basilica with an Outstanding Guide Our private tour of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe with our guide David was one of the most impactful experiences of our trip to Mexico City. First, David’s English was excellent, which made it very easy to follow his explanations and ask questions throughout the tour. His knowledge of the history and religious significance of the basilica complex was incredible. As he walked us through each of the churches and temples, it genuinely felt like we were walking in the footsteps of Juan Diego. The details he shared helped bring the entire story and setting to life. Without David’s guidance, we would have missed so many important elements and likely would not have fully understood the significance of what we were seeing. His ability to explain the symbolism, history, and context of each site made the entire experience far richer than simply walking through on our own. One of the most special moments of the day was attending Mass together at the basilica. It was an incredible surprise that the Archbishop himself celebrated the Mass, which made the experience even more memorable and meaningful. David also kindly took us to a store where we could purchase religious items that were authentically made in Mexico, which we really appreciated. If you are visiting the Basilica and want a deeper understanding of its history and spiritual significance, we highly recommend requesting David as your guide. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and truly made our visit unforgettable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
David was a great tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fun and patient. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our tour at Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica
We had the most rewarding experience at Our Lady of Guadalupe under the guidance of Laila. She was professional through and through, but also so friendly and generous with her time. Laila ensured we fully appreciated each and every site we visited. She brought us to purchase religious mementos and patiently waited while we had them blessed. We booked an extra hour for the early morning choral mass - so beautiful - and Laila adjusted our pickup time to accommodate. Her knowledge was most insightful and made this private tour so rewarding. Laila could see how much this pilgrimage meant to us, and that really touched her - which in turn, touched us. Yes, one can come and see everything we did on your own, having only a brief knowledge of this beautiful Marian shrine, however, Laila's insight brought the history to life, and left us with a more lasting impression. Thank you Laila!
Laila was a great tour guide! She’s very knowledgeable and has a great way of engaging the group. Through this tour we were able to learn about the holy site and connect different aspects of the Mexican culture such as precolonial history of the Aztecs/Mexicas and the role of the Virgen de Guadalupe uniting a divided country.
The walk was very informative and descriptive. We loved the exchange that was generated with David, the guide, and highlighted the excellent treatment and knowledge of the subject. It was a very nice and enriching experience
The information and attention to detail during the tour was amazing. Lila was very knowledgeable about the basilica and her love for the area was very inspiring.
