It was nice to know that there was a difference between the morning start time at each tourist destination being informed in advance and the local guide being contacted, but it was a great private tour. The drivers and Japanese guides were especially reassuring. They responded to our requests in a resourceful manner, including the sightseeing spots.
Great guide but bad organization, zero star hotel with broken toilet cup and torn curtains in the south of the country, for 8 days we were given both lunch and dinner always the same things. Needless to say, when I wanted to report this discomfort in the woods, I was blocked ... congratulations... very professional, travel not up to their cost
Dear Customer, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced. However, we would like to clarify that the tour you described was not organized by our company, but by another agency with a similar name, which often leads to misunderstandings. We kindly ask you to double-check this, as an incorrect review can unintentionally damage our reputation, something we work hard to maintain through professionalism and care. If you need any clarification or assistance, we are here and happy to help. Kind regards,
- Everything was well organized, before departure the original planning was slightly changed based on our preferences and the availability of the domestic flights. - The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. - The accomodations were confortable and in very good locations.
The 8-Day trip was an amazing experience filled with breathtaking moments where I got the Chance to learn the history from really knowledgeable and passionate guides, and see a ancient cities of the Silk Road like Bukhara, Khiva and Samarqand that were made possible by logistical and careful planning by Amir and his team. He ensured that every step of the way there was a driver, a train ticket and he was always a call away in every situation, which was helpful in a beautiful but foreign country. Truly an unforgettable experience for me. I’m so grateful I was able to see this remarkable country.
I highly recommend the trip with Silk Tour agencies(8 day private tour Tashkent-Khiva-Bukhara-Samarkand-Tashkent) everything was very carefully prepared by the agency. Mr Amir has heard from us several times. The guides have very good knowledge of the histories of their countries. The cities and historical monuments are wonderful. The hotels were good, cleanliness good and the service to the hotel was good. Uzbekistan is a beautiful country and people are very friendly and smiling. To return to visit the rest of the regions. See you soon
Samarkand and Bukhara are two amazing cities that will take you centuries back in history. The architecture is unique and stunning especially at night. The food is great and the people are very hospitable. A must visit
I am an over 65, female solo traveler. I always felt safe with all aspects of this tour: hotel location, drivers, guides, trains, etc. Additionally, the ancient/medieval/modern sights, tastes, city/mountain/countryside vistas were simply amazing. A dream of more than 40 years is fulfilled. Ah!
Dear Dolores, Thank you for your kind words! We're so happy you felt safe and enjoyed the incredible sights, flavors, and landscapes.
Uzbekistan is a lovely place with friendly warm people and great historical sights Food is good ( even for vegetarians in the bigger cities) This whole tour was problem free from the time we booked and pre arrival through every day of it / great organisation and communication from Amir, Excellent guides and drivers - all on time everywhere , gave us good information and an understanding of the places we visited (Tashkent Khiva Bukhara Samarkand) Hotels were also at the centre of places visited and all good ( we went in the low season so was not crowded which for us was good) All in all a great tour - thank you all very much!
I highly recommend the Uzbekistan 8-day Tashkent-Khiva-Bukhara-Samarkand-Tashkent tour by the Silk Tour agency! Not only is Uzbekistan an interesting mixture of cultures, the history and architecture along the Silk Road are certainly worth a visit. The food as well as the people are fantastic. I particularly want to mention Mr. Amir M. from the Silk Road agency who was responsive to our every need; I could send a text in the middle of the night, which he would still answer in a friendly and professional manner. He also selected the best tour guides in each city for us: -In Khiva, besides lots of historic data, Mr. Ulugbek regaled us with charming personal history passed down by his grandmother. -In Bukhara, Ms. Ghuli took us on a tour of the city at our pace and told us all about the fascinating history of the cultural and educational sites. -In Samarkand, Mr. Timur was not only our guide, but also our personal professional photographer. -In Tashkent, Ms. Anna helped us negotiate with the vendors at Chorsu Bazaar and was the most humble and gracious guide we could have wished for to conclude our trip. I would like to thank Mr. Amir, all the wonderful guides, and the respectful, patient, and kind drivers for an unforgettable experience!
Beautiful places. Hospitable people. Fantastic and spotless streets. Excellent train between Tashkent and Samarkand. Good food
