Joanna took us on a wonderful bespoke tour over two days. We took most of it in but I would recommend watching some of the films which cover the history of Krakow such as Schindler's List and The Pianist (many others too) as she is a bit of a film buff. We could not have covered half the area or seen half the sights without her informally presented local knowledge. A week later I am only just remembering much of the details of our visit
Thank you very much for your review Iain!
Zuzanna is really lovely. Unfortunately the history of Poland is extremely tragic no matter how you slice it, so just know this is not a particularly happy tour. However the history is fascinating, unique, and really puts so much of Krakow into context. Zuzanna is obviously very passionate and knowledgeable, and we thank her for sharing her history with us!
This was the best World War Two tour I have ever experienced, and it all started and ended with our guide Magda! She was very friendly and cares a lot for what she does and what she is talking about. Very informative and gives information that a lot of times is not included in the writing of the museums! Incredible… would highly recommend!
This tour was the most informing tour I have ever experienced. Our guide Magda was so friendly and did an excellent job of taking us through Kraków’s rich World War II history. There was never a dull moment while we were on the tour, and I came away from it having a deeper understanding of that people endured during that dark time in history. I would want everyone who visits to be able to experience the history this way, and with a guide like Magda!!
I highly recommend this tour. Magda, our guide and Tomasz, our driver, were a TEN! Magda gave us so much historical information as well as some of her own personal stories from growing up in the very areas we toured. They were both personable and knowledgeable. I would not come to krakow without going on this tour. 5 stars! We came with two teen boys and they loved it. Life changing.
Wow....what a tour. First of all our Guide Joanne was brilliant, she pitched her tour at just the right level, she was so knowledgeable not just on WW2 and Krakow, but the history of this fabulous city and Poland. She explained to us each location , brought us of the beaten track, and answered all our questions, which we had many. The best six hours I have spend, and we'll worth it. Thank you Rafel for arranging it, and Paul our driver. But the star if this visit is Joanne. Thank you.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We are delighted to learn that you had such a wonderful tour with us. Joanna will be thrilled to know that her knowledge made your experience memorable We are very pleased to read the words where you write that this was the best 6 hours of your stay in Krakow. Thank you once again for choosing Prime Tours Krakow, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
I can really recommend this tour, Joanna, our guide did a great job. Her knowledge about the history of Krakow seemed never ending and we got more than just an overview about the topic. Also want to mention our driver, who was so kind and gave us safe rides around the City.
Thank you for your fantastic review! Indeed, Joannna's knowledge of the city's history is something we take great pride in. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back to Krakow in the future!
Very informative trip, lots of history, the pace was good and the guide very good. The driver was also friendly. We missed a few things, but that was due to the day, and I knew when booking these would be close, plasow was closed for refurbishment, interesting history but a pity we couldn't get closer. Great contact from the tour operator. Best one of the trips so far
Thank you for your valuable feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour with us. We're excited to announce that the Plaszow Camp has recently reopened, and we're now offering full visits to this historically significant site. This tour includes all of Krakow's most significant WW2-related sites. Thanks to the fact that there is a driver available all the time, the whole thing takes only about 5h. However, on special request we are able to personalize this and any other tour, we are very flexible in this regard.
This was one of three tours we organised with Prime tours Krakow and we definitely recommend it. We had Zuzanna as our guide and a Tomas in a taxi as our driver. Both did an excellent job with a Tomas parking in difficult locations and Zuzanna so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour visited the sites listed but Zuzanna added to it with her information about how the war affected her family. The Schindlers Factory visit was particularly memorable, with timed entry so that it wasn’t too crowded to view everything.
Very informative! A good overview of WW II and both the Nazi & Soviet rules. Our Polish born tour guide Magda was very knowledgeable and had excellent English speaking skills! Our driver, Marcin, was very conscientious & courteous. He provided us with umbrellas, when sudden snow squalls developed.
