A tradição de mergulho de penhasco remonta a 1934, quando os dois países vizinhos de Acapulco se desafiaram para mostrar sua coragem e decidiram medir suas forças mergulhando no mar do topo de um penhasco. Esta tradição de Acapulco ocorre toda noite dos penhascos de La Quebrada na Antiga Acapulco.

This is a see once. Been there - Done that attraction. It is and can be dangerous for the divers to perform. To see them jump with a good view requires you to go down many, many steps to get there. It is almost impossible for the elderly to maneuver all these steps. The divers jump and then quickly run up the steps and have their containers out for tips. They dive for the money that people will give them. Curiosity gets you there but I personally don't think it's worth visiting. Watch it on YouTube for a good view of the diving. Just my personal opinion.

While tips are appreciated (as with many street performers worldwide), their jumps represent a proud cultural tradition dating back to 1934, not just financial necessity. That said, we completely understand if the experience didn't meet your expectations. For future visitors reading this, we'd suggest that while videos can showcase the dives, being here in person lets you feel the thunderous applause and gasps of the crowd - something YouTube can't quite capture. It is a unique experience, you definitely won’t go to Acapulco if you don’t go to the Quebrada, the delicious food and the super friendly guides, you manage to explain many things you may not understand about the place

We had an excellent time on our trip to La Quebrada cliff divers. Picked us up in a nice van on time at our resort. Alfonso was our driver and he gave us a lot of information on Acapulco and the history, he brought us to Los Flamingos for a drink and the most beautiful view as we watched the sunset. Then we went to La Perla for dinner and to watch the cliff divers in actions. Cliff divers went every hour from 7-10 and was absolutely incredible. The food and drinks where wonderful and all included within our trip and then Alfonso dropped us off at our resort when we were ready to leave. Appreciate how easy they made and would highly recommend to anybody visiting Acapulco

Rudy was the best host, driver & tour guide all in one. He was on time & shared so much about the history of Acapulco. We saw the most beautiful sunset to start the evening at a famous historic hotel. Then onto the La Perla restaurant for dinner & the best view of the show. The Cliff Divers performance was amazing. Definitely a “must see” in Acapulco. Thanks Rudy!!!

Mario my tour guide was amazing and very accommodating I didn’t feel very well the original day of my tour and he came and picked me up and I let him know that I wasn’t feeling well so he turned around and drop me back off at my hotel with no fuss and picked me up the next day to continue our tour. He took lots of pictures of me during my tour which allowed me to enjoy myself. I also met famous artist Hugo Zunigo who drew my portrait at the Flamingo Hotel. And the cliff drivers were just amazing ! Thank you Mario for a wonderful night .

Tour guide never showed, waited outside for over an hr. Contacted company yesterday and still no response as of today. Would never book with this company again.
Where to begin. From the moment Jesus picked us up, to the drinks at Los flamingos, to the dinner to the divers , it was amazing. It was romantic , it was fun. It completely exceeded our expectations. Jesus made the entire tour amazing. We lucked out getting him as our guide .

Had such an amazing experience from watching the cliff divers at La Quebrada to getting a tour of Acapulco. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! Even took photos and provided transportation to/from the event!
