Vamos ver lá os mortos desafiando o High Cliff Divers. Se você não os vê, não veio a Acapulco.
Nós dirigimos ao longo do Costera Miguel Aleman admirando o setor Novo, o Tradicinal Acapulco e a Área de Diamante.
Iremos à casa do famoso filantropo e colecionador de arte de Dolores Olmedo, a quem Diego Rivera fez um magnífico mural na fachada de sua casa, criando nosso mosaico veneziano.

Tour guide was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. He wss very informative and brought us to many interesting places. Thd views of the bay werd spectacular!

Overall the content of the tour was fine. A bit disorganized and felt overcrowded in the bus. The problem was the operator I guess had oversold the tour and had several people on the tour that spoke little or no English. Normally not an issue but he spent half to over half the time speaking in solely Spanish to take care of these few guests while the other 12-15 of us had no idea what was being said. I speak a little Spanish so I could tell he was leaving out certain details for one or both groups. This was sold as an English tour. I can appreciate trying to accommodate people but not at the expense of the other guests.

There were pluses and minuses for this tour. The van was new, although surprisingly cramped for those above average height. The guide was informative and the driver careful. We enjoyed the sights and cliff divers but would have preferred more visits to historical places, like the fort, rather than strolling around the downtown area unguided, which we could have done by ourselves. The pickup was messy being 10AM rather than the advised 9:30AM. We opted to view the cliff divers from the Mirador restaurant. This provided an excellent view of the divers but we were essentially forgotten about as we entered the restaurant. So lots of potential but the misses took the edge off the tour.

We strive to offer a mix of guided historical content and free time, but I understand your point that you would have preferred more structured historical visits, such as the fort, over unguided downtown time. Got a good general overview of the city. Pay the extra for the drink and show as worth it otherwise standing in the open sun to see the divers.

It is safe, moderate walking with an excellent guide who is very knowledgeable and ready to answer all questions. Beautiful scenery, ample rest room stops. The divers are magnificent! Well worth the effort and cost! The cost is less than those booked thru cruise lines.
