The tour absolutely nailed the balance between real history and local folklore, which is honestly the best kind of ghost tour. Excellent story telling by the guides. Extremely friendly and very well paced. Easy to hear them talk and excellent job keeping the group engaged. Absolute gem for an evening ghost session in beautiful Asheville.
Not only is it fun for ghost stories, but history a well. The stories were short but they were happy to answer questions and provide ways to learn more.
The tour was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared his personal experiences with the various locations visited. The tour took about an hour and a half to complete, but we were a small group (about 30 people). Not only were the stories interesting to hear, but this was a great way to see the city as well. I appreciated that we ended where we began because it made parking easy. This can be done without "walking shoes" if you happen to forget them. We walked at a moderate pace....quicker than a stroll but not so much that you felt like it was a workout.
This was a great experience. The tour was filled with lots of local history and great ghost stories and all the fun stuff that you of wanna hear whenever you’re doing a ghost story tour guide was super knowledgeable great guy I would recommend this trip to anyone.
The guide was very nice but I compared to other ghost tours I have taken this one was just "okay".

Be prepared to move at a good walking pace because you will see and hear about a lot of buildings downtown. Asheville history is incredibly interesting! Especially when ghosts and hauntings are involved. Our tour made for a fun evening in the city.
Great adventure for the price! The guide we had was very into it and was a great narrator
My boyfriend and I had the best time on this tour. Very spooky and very educational. I believe our tour guides name was Bryan and he was super cool.
Be prepared to be entertained & captivated by the stories of Asheville’s dark past. They are creatively presented & backed by historical evidence, with a sprinkle of paranormal! The fact that the guides are true believers is a bonus!
What makes this tour stand out is its balance of history and storytelling. Rather than relying solely on jump scares or exaggerated tales, the guide tells about Asheville’s fascinating past with accounts of hauntings, local legends, and unexplained events. Along the route, visitors learn about some of Asheville’s most iconic buildings, tragic events, and the characters whose stories continue to linger long after their deaths.
