O rio French Broad se estende por 218 milhas de Rosman, Carolina do Norte até Asheville, e em direção ao estado do Tennessee. A seção 9 do rio French Broad começa a aproximadamente 45 minutos de distância de Asheville, perto de Marshall, Carolina do Norte, e atravessa a Floresta Nacional de Pisgah. A maior parte do French Broad Section 9 flui através de terras protegidas e é amigável para iniciantes. Seu guia irá navegar por aproximadamente 5 milhas da Seção 9, onde você passará pelos níveis de dificuldade classe II e classe III, e poderá encontrar brevemente quedas de classe IV, dependendo da época do ano e da quantidade de chuva. My two siblings and I had a great time! First white water rafting experience for all of us. Definitely approachable for novices / first timers including appropriate aged children. A fun few hours on the river with our awesome guide Brent. Even the “school” bus ride to and from launch and return areas was both entertaining and scenic
Such a great experience! Brent and Mysun were great tour guides. Both knowledgeable and friendly ! River was refreshing To jump in to. Would 100% recommend!!

The guides were so nice and made everyone feel safe while also having fun. A great trip for beginners! The bus ride from Asheville is about 40 minutes each way and the rafting was about 1.5 hrs.
So much fun and beautiful scenery! I have to admit I was a little bit nervous going into our trip. On the bus ride there you are given lots of information on how to handle the unlikely event of emergency. However, as soon as our raft guide, Alyssa, started talking, I felt at ease. She guided us down the river with so much expertise and confidence, we had an absolute blast. She took the time to educate us on things about the river and point out beautiful wildlife. Myself husband and kids all had an amazing time.
We loved our whitewater rafting tour. Asheville Adventure Company was very organized and friendly. Kaetlyn was a super raft guide. It was super fun while feeling safe the whole time.
