Wat Phra Kaew, comumente conhecido em inglês como o Templo do Buda Esmeralda e oficialmente como Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, é considerado o templo budista mais sagrado da Tailândia. O Buda de Esmeralda alojado no templo é um potente símbolo político-religioso e o paládio da Tailândia
O Mercado Ta Tian é um imenso mercado fresco, localizado à beira do rio, em frente às paredes brancas de Wat Pho. O mercado em si é facilmente desperdiçado pela maioria dos visitantes que costumam fazer uma pausa em um dos pequenos cafés charmosos sob os arcos das fachadas sino-portuguesas, e poucos realmente localizam a pequena entrada bem no meio desse estilo de herança em forma de U construção. Essa porta discreta se abre para um túnel curto e, além dele, apenas o viajante curioso descobriria um mercado gigantesco e movimentado, protegido por um teto muito alto. O local é mais um armazém básico do que um mercado, vendendo uma enorme variedade de produtos secos do mar exibidos em grandes sacos, ingredientes de cozinha por atacado e todos os tipos de produtos frescos, desde vegetais bem conhecidos a ingredientes de aparência totalmente alienígena.

This is the way to see the Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha. The crowds at those locations are no joke, so a knowledgeable guide and private vehicle allow for maximum flexibility and access. We were picked up from our hotel in a private car with driver and guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared information about the city of Bangkok, including restaurant recommendations and general information about the history of the city. He helped us navigate the crowded palace and explained the history of every sight. He was not able to accompany us into the reclining Buddha sanctuary, but directed us and met us outside when we were finished. At the end, we were driven back to our hotel for a comfortable, hassle-free end to a big day.

Eddie and his driver were very kind and helped us a lot because we needed to get back quickly to go to airport after the tour. We learned so much about Thai history and culture and didn't have to worry about finding the best spots ourselves. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone. My partner and I enjoyed it a lot.
