Nesta excursão de 9 a 10 horas, visite o Lago Sevan, pérola deste país montanhoso e um dos maiores lagos de água doce de alta altitude da Eurásia. Você também visitará Sevanavank, um complexo monástico na península de Sevan. Atualmente funciona aqui um seminário religioso, que não é aberto ao público, a península pode ser chamada de ponto de onde se avista toda a beleza do Lago Sevan. Em seguida, você fará uma breve parada na cidade de Dilijan, também conhecida como “Suíça Armênia” por suas fantásticas florestas naturais. A cidade faz parte do Parque Nacional Dilijan. A próxima parada é Haghartsin, um mosteiro do século X que foi recentemente reformado por doação do Xeque Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, o governante de Sharjah, que ficou impressionado com o mosteiro quando o visitou. Goshavank é a parada final cercada por territórios verdes.

O fascínio e a "perla" da Armenia montanhosa é o Lago Sevan, que é um dos maiores lagos de água doce de alta altitude do mundo. É cerca de 1900 m acima do nível do mar. O lago é de origem vulcânica e é cercado por montanhas de 3000 m e mais. A bela paisagem e a água cristalina servem de boas condições prévias para um excelente descanso.O lago também é famoso por sua península e complexo de igrejas medievais, construído em 874.
Uma cena maravilhosa se abre na parte noroeste do Lago Sevan, onde a península se tormenta sobre a superfície transparente do lago. O mosteiro de Sevanavank foi construído na península em 874 por ordem da princesa Mariam, filha do rei Ashot Bagratuni. A silhueta das igrejas contra o fundo do lago turquesa e o céu azul lança uma Visualização inexplicável nos visitantes.
Goshavank foi fundada pelo famoso cientista medieval, fabulista Mkhitar Gosh. O complexo é composto por vários edifícios religiosos e seculares. O khachkar inigualável, colocado em frente à basílica de uma nave, foi criado pelo habilidoso mestre Poghos em 1291. Goshavank era um dos mais famosos centros religiosos e culturais da Armênia medieval.
O mosteiro de Haghartsin, situado nas florestas da região de Tavush, representa um exemplo indescritível da mistura da natureza com a arquitetura. Foi fundada nos séculos 10 - 11, embora novos edifícios foram adicionados nos séculos 12 - 13. Agora é composto por St. Grigor, St. Astvatsatsin (Santa Mãe de Deus), igrejas de St. Stepanos e alguns outros edifícios.O refeitório, devido à sua composição arquitetônica hábil, é de grande interesse. Perto de Haghartsin havia uma enorme árvore de carvalho, quase na idade do mosteiro, completando toda a cena. Infelizmente, apenas uma pequena parte da cavidade permaneceu até hoje, no entanto, ainda é de muito interesse entre os visitantes, e preserva a tradição, segundo a qual, quando se faz um desejo e ao mesmo tempo consegue passar pela árvore (cavidade), espera-se que se torne realidade no futuro mais próximo.

Not fun at all, they did not give enough time for each place. For exaple in the old city the guid gave us only 10 minutes. They did not drive us to lake where we can do zipline. Its like a lecturing of history in a boring way. Not recommended

This itinerary is designed as a classic historical and cultural tour, led by a professional and knowledgeable guide, focusing on some of Armenia's most remarkable landmarks. It does not include a visit to Lake Parz or the zipline, and these attractions are not part of the advertised program. We also spent approximately 30 minutes in Dilijan, including a short guided walk through the Old Town. We believe that a different tour, focused on nature and outdoor activities, might have been a better match for your interests. We appreciate your comments and wish you many enjoyable travels ahead.

A long tour outside the city starting from Yerevan, visiting several monasteries and towns in an environment different from other regions of Armenia. Recommended in summer for the cooler climate found in these areas.

The tour may have been much better suited for Russian speakers. Combining Russian and English in the same tour was not a good decision. Typically, the guide would spend about 10 minutes speaking in Russian and only 2–3 minutes in English, making English-speaking guests feel like an afterthought. Some of the main issues we experienced were: - Instructions and meeting points were often unclear. - We were traveling with a senior and a child, so we naturally moved more slowly and were frequently at the back of the group. - The guide rarely waited for the entire group to gather or ensured that everyone had heard the directions. - At one stop, we lost the group completely, which was stressful. - The guide did not seem mindful of the different needs of guests. - Several other English-speaking participants were also visibly frustrated by the confusion and lack of communication. - At most stops, the Russian explanation took up about three-quarters of the time, leaving English speakers waiting around aimlessly until the guide returned to give a very brief explanation before everyone had to rush back to the bus. The lunch was mediocre at best. In addition: - It was not clearly explained that the cake was an extra charge. - We were traveling with a child, and none of the food options were suitable for her. - When we chose not to order food for her, the guide seemed offended, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this tour to English-speaking travelers, especially families with children or seniors.
Thanks to our guide Aik and our driver Aro for this good tour. I really like, how Aik told about Armenia history and about places. Lake Sevan is astonishing and road to Dilijan with monasteries are beautiful. For me also been interested to hear Armenian history. It’s really old country. I highly recommend this tour!
