O tour fotográfico de Cusco é o único que o levará aos lugares turísticos e não-turísticos da capital inca. Começamos a manhã às 09h30. Nos encontramos na praça principal, Plaza de Armas, nos arredores de Mcdonalds. Subimos para Santa Ana e tomamos um café da manhã rápido no UMA Café às 10:00. Depois do café da manhã, subimos a rua para uma magnífica perspectiva única do Arco de Santa Ana. Este arco antigo tem um ponto de vantagem para fotografar a cidade e quase ninguém sabe que você pode realmente ir ao topo! Desceremos para o mercado de San Pedro por volta das 10h30. Também conhecido como Mercado Central, o Mercado de San Pedro é um dos lugares mais tradicionais e clássicos para fotografar em Cusco. Construído pelo famoso Gustave Eiffel em 1925, esse local concentra os moradores quíchua locais e geralmente é mais movimentado e mais atraente pela manhã. Entrar neste mercado é uma experiência diferente. Você encontrará tudo, desde frutas e vegetais frescos, remédios naturais, pessoas que comem refeições ao lado de cabeças de vaca à venda, muitos artesanatos e um mundo inteiro de influências quíchuas e cores incríveis. Às 12:00, nos mudamos para a Plaza San Francisco e visitamos a Igreja de San Francisco de Assis, convento e catacumbas. A Igreja de São Francisco é uma das maravilhas mais antigas e esquecidas da cidade. Visitaremos este convento / igreja e exploraremos sua história e arquitetura. Vamos explorar as catacumbas subterrâneas, a igreja, a área do coral com incríveis cadeiras de cedro esculpidas e um dos destaques - a Torre do Sino, onde você pode desfrutar de uma vista impressionante da cidade. Também visitaremos o pátio externo, projetado com detalhes impressionantes no estilo colonial espanhol. Às 13 horas, há uma parada obrigatória na praça principal (Plaza de Armas). Não há como escapar da praça principal. Ele concentra muita história sobre o império inca! Explore esta área com uma abordagem mais fotográfica, mas também aprenda um pouco sobre a história de Cusco. Em seguida, subimos para o bairro de San Blas e almoçamos no mercado de San Blas. O almoço é rápido e simples, mas delicioso. Um sanduíche local saudável de sua escolha e suco de frutas frescas. O mercado de San Blas é conhecido por uma vibe alternativa, opções de comida saudável e poucos turistas. Por volta das 14:00, saímos do mercado e exploramos o bairro de San Blas. O bairro mais antigo e mais bonito de Cusco. Conhecido como o local em que todos os artistas vivem na cidade. Esta área tem alguns locais escondidos que tornam a fotografia de rua incrível e poucas pessoas sabem sobre elas. Nós o levaremos por algumas paradas obrigatórias, como o “Mirador de San Blas”, onde você pode ter uma visão incrível da cidade. Por volta das 15h00, temos a opção de visitar uma Chicheria tradicional local, servindo a bebida chicha feita de milho fermentado, este é um local muito local e uma maneira perfeita de experimentar um pouco da verdadeira cultura local, se isso não acontecer escolha sua opção, visite um bar local com a melhor vista de Cusco, aqui podemos relaxar e beber um pisco sour enquanto contempla a cidade inteira, você ganhou! Também muito importante neste passeio: a dinâmica de Cusco muda diariamente! Portanto, alguns locais nas ruas não estão abertos todos os dias! Deixamos isso como uma surpresa, pois não é garantido. Mas sempre passamos pelos lugares e, se abertos, entramos para mostrar algumas joias escondidas de Cusco! Dedos cruzados!

This is a great tour to take if you want to hone your photography skills and get to see different sides of Cusco. Noe is a great guide and a great photographer who will show you some great spots around Cusco, and at the same time give you pointers and tips. He is also easy to converse with and flexible with the plan based on how the day is going or your wishes.

The views from Dan’s unique viewpoints were fantastic, we were the only ones going these places. Also the visit to the indigenous community in 4200m altitude, being the only tourists, was quite an experience.

Great experience, not only do they have a great knowledge of Cusco and will take you to see some great and intresting areas but they also have an extensive knowledge about cameras and photography great for experienced individuals or someone who just bought a camera and is getting into photography.

I have written hundreds of reviews and believe in the power of feedback; I hope my review is helpful. We met up with our guide, Noe, in the lobby of our hotel. Noe was excellent from A to Z. He took us to some less touristy spots as well as some of the normal spots and helped us capture memorable pics. Noe is a local and helped us understand some of the history, culture and even foods the locals eat. This was our first full day in Cusco and it was a great way to orient us to the city. We even asked Noe to take us to a non-touristy, locals-only restaurant for lunch and that was very memorable and gave us an insight into everyday life for locals. I highly recommend this tour especially for those who want to make sure they come away with some great pics and memories. Bravo, Noe. ¡Gracias!

I recently did this tour with Dan. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend it. I was picked up from my hotel on time, went to the outskirts of the city, near the Christ statue, and then slowly walked down into the city. Dan knew all the best areas for picture taking, and provided excellent advise for camera angles, settings, perspectives. I used a DSLR camera as well as iphone.

I started off with a day tour with friends around Lima with Dan and had a lot of opportunities for awesome photos of wonderful vistas of Lima, and got some great photo tips :) Then I spent 4 days with Noe on photo tours based out of Cusco. We started with the Alternate Rainbow Mountain, which was amazing! Then we continued with getting outside the city and seeing some amazing landscapes and learning more about landscape photography. My favorite day was when we went to visit a local family up in the mountains and learned about portrait photography. Bernardino cooked us a wonderful lunch and his family was so welcoming! My favorite moment was when we all piled into the van and drove up to a scenic spot overlooking a lake, and we all just sat there and enjoyed each other’s company :) Bernardino’s son even let me try to play his recorder lol Noe is a great photographer and guide and was so patient with my friend and I, and by the end of the 4 days he had both of us shooting in manual..that’s quite a feat! I highly recommend Andean Photo Expeditions and would love to go back and take some more tours with them, especially to the Amazon!
