Passaremos para buscá-lo em seu hotel para levá-lo a um dos vulcões mais famosos da Costa Rica, que entrou em erupção 40 vezes desde 1828, incluindo abril de 2017, quando visitantes e moradores foram evacuados. O vulcão e o parque ao redor ficaram fechados por quase 17 meses, com um perímetro de segurança de 2,5 quilômetros estabelecido ao redor da cratera em erupção. A partir de 1º de setembro de 2018, o parque foi reaberto com acesso limitado apenas à área de observação da cratera. Após teremos um delicioso almoço típico da zona. Em seguida, visitaremos uma das cachoeiras mais bonitas da Costa Rica, a cachoeira La Paz. E para tornar este passeio muito interessante, visitaremos a única fazenda de café do mundo

O Tour começará com a coleta no seu hotel para levá-lo ao Vulcão Poas, enquanto subimos a montanha, veremos plantações de café e fetos, flores e fazendas de morango ao longo do caminho, criando uma bela variedade de cores e efeitos visuais. Há uma notável mudança de temperatura e vegetação, preparando-nos para o prazer da exuberante floresta nublada do vulcão Poás. O Vulcão Poás é um vulcão ativo de 2.708 metros (8.885 pés). A cratera do vulcão é mais de uma milha de diâmetro e 1050 metros de profundidade. Ele entrou em erupção 40 vezes desde 1828, incluindo abril de 2017. No vulcão, teremos tempo para apreciar a impressionante cratera principal com suas fumarolas de enxofre. Então teremos um delicioso almoço típico nos restaurantes da região.
Em seguida, visite a mais famosa Fazenda de Café, a primeira e única fazenda de café da Costa Rica. Com belas vistas e instalações incríveis.

Make sure you have a warm jacket to walk up to the volcano, and do your best to book on a very sunny day

Carlos was exceptionally well versed in all things Costa Rica and coffee. The vistas and fauna were breathtaking and Carlos was able to explain everything we were seeing.
Do NOT use this tour company. They no showed our full day tour. No response to phone calls or text. Took $298US and then never show up!!
Hello Laure, sorry for the inconvinience we had a missunderstanding, you know we contact you several times to the phone you gave us at the reservation, we sent you the hour of pick up time the itinerary and a picture of the minivan, we went to your hotel and you were not there since you did not response to any of our message. Even if we bougth your entrances we refound your money
The volcano tour was really nice. First time seeing an active volcano. Daniel was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the tour as well as Costa Rica.
Magical viewing of Poas Volcano. Our guide just said stand to the right and wait. The clouds cleared and we had a great view. Also saw the beautiful La Paz Waterfall. Had a great traditional Costa Rican meal and an interesting coffee tour. A short hike to see wildlife -we saw Congo monkeys. Also Toucans from lunch. Carlos was a great guide!
You did not show up to collect me. I waited for 1 hour 15. No one answered the phone or my messages. No reason given for the no show. Yet you still ask for a review!
Horrible! Wouldn’t allow me to give 0 stars. Tour company never showed up. They never contacted us to explain and neve responded to text. Entire day wasted as it was too late to book something else. Very frustrated!

I do NOT recommend this tour operator. Our guide canceled our full day tour and offered to take us the.next day but then never replied to any of my (nine) messages to confirm the next day’s trip and did not show up. No one answered the local operator’s phone either. I had already canceled the second day’s tour with another company to go on this “rescheduled” tour and so lost all the money for the other next day’s tour that I canceled to go on this one. . I ended up having to hire a private guide to take the tour. The added expense, lost time, and inconvenience made this a huge disappointment.
In my over 3 decades of using Viator, this was the worst experience given that despite our booking the tour in English, we had the tour guide provide the tour in Spanish. There were only two other individuals who were in the tour and they spoke Spanish so the tour seemed catered for them. We basically were on our own. Truly a very disappointing experience and not handled well by Viator support when we complained. Will be writing to TripAdvisor CEO about this experience when we return to the US.
