O Mercado Ferroviário Maeklong é um mercado tailandês tradicional que vende legumes frescos, alimentos e frutas. O que torna o mercado especial é que ele ocupa parte de uma linha de trem. Algumas vezes ao dia, há um trem circulando diretamente pelo mercado. Poucos minutos antes da chegada do trem, os vendedores abaixam os guarda-chuvas e afastam parte de seus produtos dos trilhos. Alguns são deixados no chão, com o trem passando por cima deles. Surpreendentemente, nada fica danificado ou quebrado e, assim que o trem passa, os fornecedores movem suas mercadorias de volta para os trilhos e continuam normalmente (até o próximo trem chegar).
Famosa por seus mercados flutuantes para turistas, Damnoen Saduak é o que você encontrará na literatura turística da Tailândia. Traga sua câmera para testemunhar o rio repleto de barcos de madeira transbordando de frutas e legumes, que eles vendem para as pessoas que estão em terra. A cena é colorida e barulhenta; exatamente como você esperaria de um mercado tailandês. Fica a apenas 100 km de Bangkok.

Ignore the negative reviews. This tour was absolutely worth it and ended up being one of the best tours we’ve ever taken! The company was very clear about everything from the beginning. A lot of the complaints in the reviews seem to come from people who didn’t read the instructions or expectations carefully. We knew exactly what to expect, and everything was delivered as promised. Our tour guide, Hady, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond throughout the entire day. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and truly cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. His energy, enthusiasm, and attention to the group made the tour even more enjoyable. The tour itself was incredible, well organized, fun, and memorable from start to finish. The only thing worth mentioning is that while the itinerary lists the end time as 2:00 PM, that’s when the activities end. You still need to account for the drive back, which brought us closer to 4:00 PM because of traffic. That said, the return trip was actually quicker than we expected and wasn’t an issue at all. Overall, this was an excellent experience and one I would absolutely do again. I would take this tour 10 more times and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Travel.to and from this location consumes.your whole day. Plus.the noise.and air pollution from long tail.biats is terrible. Find something else to do.

Nice overall, but the train ride is super boring. Maybe just go to the train market alone instead of this tour.

It was a good experience but it had become to touristy. Way too many people and a little hard to enjoy. But still had a good time with the experience. :-)

It was very touristic and the train ride was only interesting the last 5 minutes. A lot of souvenir vendors at the floating market. Don't forget to bargain.

Going on the boat rides for it was fun and would do it again. Very creative how there's shops on boats to.

Interesting day yesterday. This tour has a lot if driving. Our van was not the most comfortable (older van model). Most if us had stiff muscles by the end of the day. The boat ride was also shorter (about 10 minutes) than what we were told (20-25 minutes). It took about 3h30 to get back to our hotel.
