Excursão de dia inteiro ao Vale Sagrado saindo de Cusco

O Vale Sagrado dos Incas é um lugar cheio de antigas ruínas incas. Os mais impressionantes são Pisac e Ollantaytambo. Ambas as estruturas são construídas com enormes blocos de pedra. Este passeio também vai para as Minas de Sal de Maras e o sítio arqueológico de Moray.

Itinerário
Vamos buscá-lo em seu hotel às 6h40. Sairemos da cidade de Cusco às 7:00 da manhã. Nossa primeira parada será na cidade de Chinchero. Aqui visitaremos o sítio arqueológico de Chinchero.
A seguir, em 25 minutos chegaremos ao complexo arqueológico de Moray. Moray possui vários terraços agrícolas circulares. Segundo alguns historiadores, essas estruturas foram utilizadas pelos Incas para cultivar plantas de climas mais quentes.
Nossa próxima parada será nas Minas de Sal de Maras, localizadas a 25 minutos de Moray. As Minas de Sal contêm dezenas de poços quadrados de água salgada. Esses poços estão cheios de água salgada que vem do subsolo. Depois de exposta ao sol, a água evapora deixando o sal para trás. Depois, o sal é recolhido pela população local e vendido no mercado local.
Depois de explorar as minas de sal de Maras, iremos de carro até a cidade de Urubamba. Urubamba está localizada na parte mais baixa do Vale Sagrado, por isso o clima é um pouco mais quente. Teremos um almoço buffet aqui. Após o almoço visitaremos o complexo arqueológico de Ollantaytambo.
Sairemos de Urubamba após o almoço e em 30 minutos estaremos na cidade e parque arqueológico de Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo é famosa por suas longas escadas de pedra que levam à área principal do complexo. Assim como Pisac, Ollantaytambo era um palácio real inca. Também visitaremos o povoado de Ollantaytambo, onde você poderá comprar alguns souvenirs.
Depois de explorar Ollantaytambo, o transporte nos levará por 1 hora e 30 minutos até a cidade e complexo arqueológico de Pisac, localizado no Vale Sagrado. A cidade de Pisac é uma vila aconchegante localizada às margens do rio Urubamba. Possui um mercado tradicional onde você pode comprar lembranças e saborear a comida local. Por outro lado, o complexo arqueológico de Pisac está localizado no topo de uma colina próxima. É composto por numerosos edifícios de pedra que foram casas da nobreza Inca. Depois de explorar este lindo lugar, retornaremos à cidade de Cusco, onde chegaremos por volta das 19h.

Our tour to scared valley was fantastic! We made about 7 stops, it was a long day but all worth it. Out tour guide Leo was amazing very knowledgeable, did a fantastic job explaining in detail. And he was a great human being really showed us amazing hospitality.

Tour was ok. Lunch was terrible and everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. And music and noise very loud.

This tour took you to all the sites it listed, but time at the historically and archaeologically significant sites were sacrificed at the expense of trying to rip tourists off. At every opportunity, we were taken to a vendor who could play tricks to take tourists money, while only being given 10 minutes to explore each historic site actually advertised as part of the tour. English was presented on this tour as an after thought, with long complex descriptions and discussions had in Spanish and then a very concise description provided in English.

We would like to explain that nowadays, near several archaeological sites such as Chinchero, Moray, Maras Salt Mines, and Pisac, local communities and residents offer their handicrafts and traditional products as part of their culture and daily livelihood. Our agency does not own or operate any shops or sales stands. During the tour, we only make a brief stop in Chinchero, where local people demonstrate the traditional Andean weaving and spinning process, and another short stop in Pisac, where visitors receive an explanation about local jewelry and handicrafts. We completely understand your point of view and are very sorry that you felt the time spent at some archaeological sites was too limited. Your comments are very important to us, as they help us continue improving and providing a more balanced and enjoyable experience for all our visitors. We had an amazing experience on this tour! Andy was a fantastic guide - super fun, engaging, and incredibly informative. He shared so much about Inca history and culture, and we learned a lot throughout the day. Everything was very well organized, with timely pickup and drop-off, and great communication from start to finish. The sites we visited were absolutely stunning, and each stop felt worthwhile. One of the highlights was a stop at a baby alpaca shop, where they walk you through the entire process of how the products are made and dyed. It was really interesting, and you also have the option to purchase items if you’d like. We did the full tour, including the final stop in Pisac, which was beautiful and definitely worth it. Just a heads-up: some people in our group chose to end their tour early at Ollantaytambo to catch their train to Machu Picchu, so that’s an option if you coordinate ahead of time. Highly recommend this tour!

Loved it. Jimi was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable. We hit Pisaq, which was my favorite, Ollantaytambo & those ruins were amazing. It was my birthday & at lunch they had the restaurant make it a whole thing, which was sweet. We also hit the salt mines, & lots of other places, too many to remember. Overall great experience

This was a wonderful tour. We learned and saw so much. Our driver was kind and proficient. Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. It was easy to arrange and such a cool tour. The stops were all amazing.

The tour guide is good, we did visit all the spots, but it's too short for some of sites such as Pisac, pretty much didn't get to see much at Pisac. You might need to do that separately. The only major complain I have is that they take you to shopping sites... there were 3 spots we stopped for shopping, which did not mention in the details.

Very good experience, the guide explained the places we visited, they gave us enough time to take the photos and appreciate the landscape, my children of 11 and 12 years were happy and entertained, my wife and I enjoyed the family day taking our children to know in a safe and didactic way the history of the Sacred Valley of Cusco.
