Wonderful experience. The owner gave a great overview of his distillation process as well as a history of his experience in starting the business. We enjoyed his laid back approach and interaction with the group. We can’t wait to try the gin and vodka we made in the lab 😋

Visiting this old firehouse turned distillery was a huge highlight! The spirits were awesome—we loved the samples of vodka, gin, and agave, and making our own custom bottle of vodka to take home was a fantastic souvenir. The best part, though, was the history. We learned the absolutely crazy story of how the town's historic fires were actually set by a rookie fireman! Hearing that wild tale while sitting inside the old firehouse made the tasting experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The distillery tour was more of a sit down in front of some vats for an hour and listen to the life story of the 2 men that started the distillery, the history of the building and an arsonist. While slightly interesting, I felt it went on too long. You got to taste various gins and spirits in between. The actual signature bottle infusion portion of the experience was super rushed at the end (15 mins) and basically explained at warp speed and you are left to your devices to infuse your bottle. 1 bottle is included in the price of the tour. If you wish to infuse another, it is extra. Overall at over $200 AUD per person it is extremely overpriced and not value for money.

I was worried at first after reading some reviews but this excursion was amazing and i am so glad I booked it. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and the class was great. I would definitely book this again when we come back.

The presentation was fun. Travis was hilarious and the liquor was surprisingly very good! This was my favorite excursion of the entire cruise.

What a cool experience with Travis, Dan, and Mark! Travis gave us a fun alcohol history lesson before we went upstairs and made our own booze! You can infuse it with whatever you want. They had probably 15 to 20 different options and you can make vodka tequila, bourbon or gin. Sooo worth it! If you’re in Ketchikan, it is a MUST! Enjoy!
