This tour was so easy to book and the experience and communication with Tolga was excellent. He gave clear directions on pickup and prepayment for Ephesus and St John’s, which made entry to those places so easy with our guide. Elif Serbester was our guide and she was amazing! She is wonderfully kind, hospitable and overall so knowledgeable about all the sites. She loves to learn and is so excited for you to learn, as well! She listened intently and answered all our questions thoroughly. She even gave us time to explore on our own with no rush to hurry through anything. She was in communication with our driver so he was ready for us when we were ready to leave a site and even had the car cooled down since it was so incredibly hot. We left feeling like we learned so much Biblical history from Mary’s house, Ephesus, and St John’s Basilica, but we also had such an appreciation for Turkish culture as we visited and had lunch at the co-op. We learned about what it takes to make Turkish rugs with absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Lunch was also a sample of a simple Turkish meal but was outstanding! We also visited a family ceramics shop to learn more about the tradition of this Turkish business with again no pressure to buy. From pickup to the day’s end-the entire tour was glorious and I would highly recommend this tour, Tolga, Mrs. Elif and our driver, Metin Korkmaz. Thank you for our wonderful tour!
Thank you. We try our best for you.
This tour was so easy to book and communication with Tolga was excellent. He gave an easy explanation of where to meet and how to pre-pay our tickets into the sites for ease of admission on our tour day. Elif Serbester was our tour guide and wonderfully helpful, kind and so incredibly knowledgeable. Her explanations of Biblical history and the sites was amazing. She was also gracious to give us time to enjoy and take in the sites. She was such an excellent teacher when answering our questions about the Biblical history, as well. She was also in communication with our driver so that when we were leaving a site she always made sure the van was cooled down for us on this very hot day when we got back in. Our driver, Metin Korkmaz was also fabulous. He made sure to help us in and out of the vehicle, be ready and available when we were ready and even had cold water ready for us after visiting St John’s Basilica. We could not have asked for a better tour. Mary’s house in the morning was so peaceful and Ephesus was overwhelmingly educational, as was St John’s Basilica- all do to Elif’s guidance. She loves learning and has such a great passion to teach all she knows to those on her tour. We quickly went from just tourists to friends all due to Elif’s warm and gracious hospitality. Lunch was at the co-op and was simply refreshingly delicious! As they prepared our lunch, we learned so much about the Turkish culture and what it takes to make Turkish carpets by hand with absolutely no pressure to buy! We also toured a local family owned Turkish ceramics business and learned so much from their trade, as well! The entire day was so lovely despite the heat and I would most definitely do it all again with this tour company. I cannot recommend them enough!! The tour company, Mrs. Elif and Metin deserve 5 stars!
You are transported back in time in a world that we only read about. The archaeologists who have uncovered these ruins should be praised! You have to appreciate the time it took and the detail that went into this site so we may experience it.
Thank you. We try our best for you.
We had a great tour with our guide Elif! She was very knowledgeable, sharing history & fun facts at each stop & all along the way. If cruising, we recommend getting off the ship quickly & starting early. Our guide has us at our first stop before all the larger tours arrived. We had a wonderful traditional lunch & enjoyed seeing how Turkish carpets are made. The personal touch of a small tour is unbeatable!
Thank you. We try our best for you.
We had Gigi for a tour guide and she did not disappoint. I had requested her based on so many amazing reviews about her. It was only my husband and myself so it was definitely private. We thought we would be with at least another couple or family but it was just us. They met us right outside our cruise ship and it was easy to find her. The van was clean & well air conditioned. Gigi knew to go to the Virgin Mary’s house first and the rest of the day was smooth sailing and quick entry. She was well organized & was always informing us about local bathrooms. This was my favorite tour on our cruise and even the week prior traveling through Italy. Gigi is so knowledgeable & very passionate about her tours. The meal was delicious and she has already informed us about the rug offers and weaving demonstrations, but she has insisted there is no pressure to buy. Definitely worth every penny for this tour & Gigi as a guide. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed- this was a fantastic day!
Thank you. We try our best for you.
This was the best tour I have ever been on hands down. Our guide was fantastic and the whole tour was organized to perfection. I cannot recommend it enough if you are going to Ephesus.
Thank you. We try our best for you.
I loved my experience because Özlem would explain everything in depth. The admission fee was reasonable. The length of the visit was just right because we got to see a lot of scenes.
Thank you. We try our best for you.
Amazing tour, lunch was great and our time guide was amazing!
Thank you. We try our best for you.
We really enjoyed this tour! It was eye-opening to see and learn about all of the historical aspects of Ephesus. Arda was also friendly, professional and patiently explained things - He really went above and beyond to give us an authentic experience and ensure that we were comfortable. The lunch was also very nice.
Thank you. We try our best for you.
I was very impressed with how quickly we could locate our tour guide Arda, considering that there are thousands of cruisers leaving the port at the same time. Arda was professional, informative and every member of the family had an amazing and fun time. Truly a very memorable day for us.
Thank you. We try our best for you.
