L'Etna è il più alto vulcano attivo terrestre della placca euroasiatica. È stato dichiarato patrimonio dell’umanità dall’Unesco. Partendo da vila de Nicolosi, salirai verso la sua cima attraverso vigneti e vallate fatte di lava stratificata. A un certo punto, ti ritroverai in un paesaggio “lunare”. A cerca de duemila metri di altezza, raggiungerai i Monti Silvestri, devido crateri inattivi. A cratera inferior é facilmente acessível e pode entrar em seu interior. Se te la senti, puoi provare anche l'escursione al cratere superiore. È più faticosa e richiede una piccola scalata, ma ne vale la pena: una volta in cima, vedrai il cratere inferiore con i suoi colori rossastri e, in lontananza, il Golfo di Catania. O passeio termina com uma visita panorâmica do centro histórico de Catania, lungo via Etnea, piazza duomo con l elefante , piazza Stesicoro , Breve sosta e rientro al terminal crociere di Catania

Do not take this excursion! It is no more than a cab ride to mt Edna!! No English speaking your guide with history or culture!! The only thing that was correct was you got to Mt Edna . The driver didn’t speak a word of english we couldn’t even ask him any questions! You can get a cab for 80 euro if you just want to get a cab ride not $280 tour because there is no tour!! After complaining to the tour direct via WhatsApp immediately that we didn’t have an English speaking tour guide the never did anything!! They did end up dropping us in cantina because there were several of us that wanted to see cantina as promised in their discription! Matteo did show us a ruin that was coved by volcanic ash and a church for 2 minutes! We told them we would walk back to the ship because we wanted to explore cantina ! Don’t get me wrong mt Edna is a must see and explore but don’t use this tour!!! After I complained to viator the tour operators sent me nasty name calling texts! Very unprofessional! I sent her the description the tour that I paid for 2 minutes into the tour!! She choose not to address the situation!! We did arrive safely with much prayer ! Our drive talked and texted on his phone definitely not a tour guide at all!!!
