Our guide was excellent for this tour. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time. Vickey had clear English and was a wealth of information.
Thanks to our guide Zhuang, we learned about the city and its history. By having someone from the local area tell me about it, I was able to learn about Taiwan that I couldn't understand using guidebooks alone.
Thank you Mr Waseda Zhuang for an engaging and interesting tour of the area. His recommendations for the area are spot on and includes many places that we would have missed like the Peking Duck shop. Highly recommended!
Chuang Deming’s guide was really wonderful and we learned a lot about the profound charms of Dihua Town that we might have overlooked on our own. The history of Daejeon is very interesting and I wanted to come back to this place. The visit to the Xiahaicheng Mausoleum was also a valuable experience thanks to the teacher's careful commentary. I really recommend this tour to get to know Taipei better. Thank you very much.
Isabella was terrific, knowledgeable and organized. Highly recommend this tour. From temple practice to herbal medicine to fabrics, very interesting.

Outstanding walking tour with a true local. His experience and knowledge of the area was greatly appreciated and added enormously to our enjoyment.
Dear Traveler, Thanks so much for your kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed the experience—it was great having you with us. Hope to see you again sometime soon!
We had a wonderful tour with Alex who explained many aspects of Taiwan's history, showed us tons of hole-in-the-wall stores and restaurants, and recommended tons of great food (some of which we ate on the tour and some of which we came back for seconds later!)
Dear Traveler, Thank you kindly for your thoughtful review! We’re so happy to know that you had a great experience—it truly means a lot to us. It was a pleasure serving you, and we hope to welcome you again soon for an even more enjoyable time. Thanks again!
My tour guide, Alex was great. I really enjoyed the entire Private Dadaocheng Walking Tour with him. He has a wealth of knowledge for the area. He knows the local history and culture very well. It was truly fun and enjoyable for me tour the area with him. Most importantly, he is a very caring person. After the tour ended, he even made sure that I got into my taxi safely before we parted our ways.
Booked a 2hr private walking tour for 2 with May and it was a evening well spent walking through Dadaocheng and learning about it's rich history and architecture. May was very enthusiastic and we liked that she brought us to a place to buy Taiwanese tea. She was patient and accomodating, and even recommended places to buy souvenirs. The entire experience felt as if a friend is showing you around her favourite places. Highly recommended for anyone who is into history and culture!
Alex Feng is an excellent tour guide. He arrived early and made a good impression of being friendly and enthusiastic. He gave a very interesting tour of the Dadaocheng market area with some history of Taiwan and of the merchant culture plus sampling of the herbal and culinary delights. We were fortunate to witness a street performer who magically changed multiple face masks. At the end of the tour he offered his cell phone number in case we needed any assistance during the remainder of our stay.
