Our tour guide Miguel was truly amazing, knowledgeable, stories and very funny, keeping an entire bus fully entertained, the town quite charming but very chaotic at this time and did not get to experience it the way projected ,but getting to see the families at the graveyard was deeplymoving and worth going to experience
Hello, good day, thank you so much for your feedback on the activities in Mixquic. We are delighted that our guide, Miguel, was able to share with you the importance of our wonderful tradition. Since Mixquic is one of the most visited towns at this time of year, its streets get quite crowded. We also greatly appreciate your feedback, and we hope to see you again in Mexico.
Our guide Howard was very nice but most of all, honest. He managed our expectations about how crowded Mixquic would be. The experience was sublime. Seeing all tbe locals’ devotion really touched my heart. Don’t miss it.
Hello, good day! Thank you for your feedback regarding the Mixquic tour. We're so glad you enjoyed it and were able to experience one of Mexico's most beautiful traditions. We hope to see you soon in Mexico!
To start we each received a cute Chocolate sugar skull gift and free face painting (although they did not have time for everyone, I would recommend they only offer 1-2 quick options in the future because they were getting really detailed with it). Our guide was very knowledgeable during the bus ride and organized at making sure we all made it back on the bus at the end, otherwise we only saw him for about 10 minutes. This place was packed to the brim and our guide made it very clear where to meet up if you lost him. To be completely honest there was no way not to lose him with a group size of 50+ in a crowd of 150,000+ people. The cemetery and main street are so full of people they will push on you and it's almost impossible to stop to see the graves or ask about the ofrendas. My main frustration is that we do not speak Spanish and were hoping to go into local homes and learn about real ofrendas with the guide's translation but totally lost him after just a few minutes. We did go into 1 home by ourselves and immediately got pick-pocketed. Overall, it was a once in a lifetime experience but in the future, we will look for a less "instagramy" location and try to find another "lighting of the cemetery" more off the beaten path or participate in less claustrophobic Day of the Dead experiences. This tour was great as a taxi service, but a small group tour is absolutely necessary to enjoy this experience.
Hello, good day. I hope you are well. We greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the Mixqui tour, as it helps us improve the tour experience. We sincerely regret that the tour wasn't as enjoyable as you had hoped due to the issues you encountered. We will take note of your comments about the makeup application time and the group size. We are working to offer more personalized options and smaller group tours that allow you to experience the most authentic Day of the Dead traditions.
Great experience ! I would highly recommend anyone to go on any one of their tours. Was exactly what I expected!

Hello, good day! We greatly appreciate your feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed the tour and were able to experience the true Day of the Dead tradition. We hope to see you again soon in Mexico!
The experience of meeting mixquic on the day of the dead was very nice, as we did not let the poor attention of the tour was marred. The pantheon, the joy of its people, the decoration and the meaning leaves you great learning. Now speaking of the agency, I must say pesima, starting with the first person who attends to you by organizing passengers in the buses 'Sara' daring, altered, very bad treatment with people, treats you like cattle. Then the transport, without air conditioning, you roasted inside the bus, kept the bathroom closed back and forth, the driver did not want to open the bathroom. The ruriatic guide Samanta, does not do the tour hired, never took us to see a house and an offering as it says what you hire, leaves you in a corner and then manage for yourself and comes back in 3 hours Everything wrong with the agency, the guide all wanted to solve it xon a shot of tequila that offered you every time you asked to open the bathroom or that you asked for some Service included contracted and that they were not delivering it. Bad agency. Luckily my husband and I didn't let anything tarnish what we wanted to experience.
3 hours before the tour, the operator called and informed that there was no seat available for us. We did not have time to rebook or find alternative. That completely ruined our vacation.
Hello! Good day! We regret the situation that arose on the day of the activity. Unfortunately, we no longer had available spaces for the event. However, we have issued your corresponding refund. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The actual experience at the cemetery was amazingly wonderful. The guide/tour guide from the travel agency was full of information but least with EMPATHY. NO RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP THE VISITOR/GUIST WHO HAS FLOWN THOUSANDS OF MILES TO EXPERIENCE DAY OF THE DEAD. HE LEFT ME TO EXPLORE MYSELF 3 HOURS. WE PAY FOR GUIDANCE AND HELP. This is not done. YOU MUST TAKE THE GUIDE INTO TASK. VsKumar. I am qualified to say this because I have traveled to more than 120 countries and I am 65 year old senior and highly placed officer.
A super interesting experience. Mixquic fascinating but extremely over crowded - to the point of feeling like a crowd crush may happen - it did not feel very safe. And I expected a little more explanation - but rather, we were given some background and then taken to the graveyard and told we had 3 hours to get back to meeting point. Rather than a tour, this feels more like a shuttle bus to / from the Misquic graveyard. The site is amazing but they really need to limit the numbers somehow, for safety and for respect to the families with loved ones buried there. About the tour itself - I was booked on an English speaking tour and I ended up on the “bilingual” tour - I was the only non-Spanish speaker and so I feel that I missed out on some of the explanations.. I found this quite frustrating….
Hello, good day. Thank you for your feedback regarding the Mixquic tour. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand your concerns about Mixquic. This event attracts thousands of visitors each year, which can make it difficult to offer the personalized experience we would like. However, we have taken note of your comments regarding the organization and the quality of the bilingual guide to improve our coordination. Thank you for your feedback; we will focus on making improvements.
Too many people .. walk too much from the bus to the church and center of the activity and everything happens very quickly by the number of people there are .. the staff very pleasant. All I was waiting for was to go to the house with the altar that is advertised when booking
