What a fun experience. Cooking class with an eye for traditional methods and high quality. There were two of us, but that gave a lot of room for tips and ideas. The food was great, I'm going to make this at home and fortunately I can. Eat Osaka deserves the highest rating.
Guided cooking workshop in an authentic environment. Wonderful process and delicious food. Received a PDF with the recipe and ingredients afterwards. Great fun for family and small groups.
This was such a great experience. The venue.was easy to find and close to the station. The house itself is beautiful and a lovely space to be in. Guidance on making the various dishes was super easy to follow and I'll absolutely be using some of the techniques again (especially the soba noodles!) I was the only student so we had a great chat about all kinds of things , the 2 hours absolutely flew by. Highly recommended
The cooking class was a great experience in a beautiful traditional Japanese kitchen. The group was small and intimate and our chef/teacher was lovely. It was nice to sit down at the end and eat the delicious food we made.
Our guide, Rina, taught my husband and I, as well as two other couples, to make udon noodles and a dip, a pickled cucumber salad, as well as chicken and vegetable tempura. It was a fun, easygoing atmosphere; we learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!
Super friendly chef who helped prepare a delicious meal! I feel confident that I will be able to cook the meal again back home. The chef accompanied me to a nearby grocery store and helped me buy a couple of ingredients. The whole experience was great including the gorgeous authentic Japanese kitchen!
Amazing experience to complete our stay I Japan. Chef Rina was so friendly and welcoming to the kitchen. My wife and I felt so comfortable during this class. We made Udon Noodles with a dipping sauce with Tempura and pickled cucumber. The recipe was easy to follow and Rina guided us through. The food turned out perfect. Experience is great and I would highly recommend Eat Osaka and ask for Chef Rina.
Kano made our experience phenomenal! She was patient, kind, professional, and funny every step of the way. Our food turned out deliciously and we left feeling like we made a friend too! Everyone should take a class here while they’re in Kyoto.
We had such a fun time in this cooking class. We were trying to find something small and personal….this was it! Only four people in the class in a very quaint building and kitchen. Our teacher, Miyu was delightful. She made the whole experience perfect. We highly recommend Eat Osaka! Thanks!
Had the best time with Miyu! We've done a few cooking courses in various countries and always been slightly disappointed by what you get to do but this was brilliant. Small group, just the 4 of us, great atmosphere and a lot of fun both making the food and learning a little bit more about Japan and some useful phrases. The food was also delicious and Miyu is so sweet but with a great sense of humour. Highly recommend, this is one of our trip highlights for sure! We also left full, it was more food than we expected.
