The amount of knowledge of local plants, history of the landscape, history of historic travelers was fun and a great filler for the yummy stops on the food trail! Carole was awesome!!

We had a great foodie/walking tour led by our wonderful guide Carol. She was a wealth of information and well organized. The food was great. We hit some spots we were planning on going to so that took care of it.

The Downtown Anchorage Walking Food Tour with Carol the guide was very enjoyable. Carol is a wealth of knowledge about Anchorage and a very nice human being to be around. We met at a restaurant and had fire weed glazing on donuts. We then went to a beer/brewery? and enjoyed various wine and beer selected by the tour attendees. We then walked over to a street festival and tired reindeer hot dogs which were good, but someone should tell the vendor to have forks. We then went to a restaurant and we were offered various Alcoholic and non Alcoholic drinks and tasted fried halibut, a nice crab cake and salmon to taste. All the while Carol is giving us various information. It was a worthwhile tour which for those who don't mind walking around and trying new foods would be a good way to taste them. But make no mistake, Carol is a big part of why the tour was so enjoyable.

Carol was our guide and we had a lovely time with her. We visited four places, and each one had a nice offering that was very different from all of the other offerings. We spent a lot of time on the streets hearing about history and some of that could have been done at each location instead of standing on the sidewalk, but other than that, we loved it!

We had an amazing time on our walking food tour with Carole! From the very first stop, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she is about Anchorage and Alaska as a whole.
