Very nice excursion with a guide, Lili, who was very pleasant. A must-do.
Liliana was so welcoming and provided an excellent service, answering all the questions I had and giving a detailed experience throughout. I left the tour with a new wide range of information 👌
It was great to see so many amazing sites in one day, and our guide, Lilly, was fantastic! She was definitely the most knowledgeable guide we've had out of all tours we've done here. Lunch was included which was a bonus - definitely good value for money. As well as the fascinating archaeological sites, we really enjoyed seeing the weavers in Moray and the Maras salt mines. There were shops as part of both these visits but we didn't feel pressured to buy anything. Great places for souvenirs and gifts though. All in all, one of the best days we've had in Peru!
“Fantastic tour and an incredible value for everything included. The Sacred Valley sites were beautiful and fascinating, and the day was very well organized from start to finish. Our guide, Lily, was awesome — knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and very attentive to everyone in the group. She explained the history and culture in a way that made everything come alive and kept the day fun and engaging. The stops at Chinchero, Moray, Maras, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac were all amazing. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Lily as your guide!
Our guide Elizabeth made the tour even more special. She was very kind, professional, and also had a great sense of humor, which made the tour very pleasant and entertaining. You can tell the passion and dedication with which she performs her work. Without a doubt, a completely recommended experience.
Very good day of visiting with Lily, clear explanations, very pleasant, passionate about her job. We chose to stop in Ollantaytambo to take a train to Aguas Calientes. We do not regret it; it allowed us to take our time in the Sacred Valley, to climb all the way to the top for an unforgettable view! Then we had time to enjoy the city, its market, and its little streets before taking our train. Perfect day, although a bit too early in the morning, as the fog hid the view until 8:30.
A long and exhausting day, but absolutely worth it for the views and experiences. We were picked up around 5:50 AM and didn’t return until about 6:15 PM, so be prepared for a very full day. One important tip: the altitude in the Sacred Valley is even higher than Cusco, so I strongly recommend waiting at least a full day before doing this tour to acclimate. Many people in our group, myself included, dealt with headaches or nausea from the altitude, so definitely bring any altitude sickness medications you use and don’t underestimate the value of coca tea/coca candies. The roads are very winding and bumpy, so if you’re prone to motion sickness, come prepared. The day is also very physical — my phone logged the equivalent of 55+ floors climbed between the ruins, stairs, and walking paths. Combined with the altitude, it can definitely wear you out. There aren’t many opportunities to rest in the itinerary other than on the bus. Still, I wouldn’t change a thing about the itinerary. Every stop felt unique: we watched a fascinating local weaving demonstration, sampled salt from the famous mines, saw tons of alpacas and guinea pigs, and explored incredible ruins throughout the valley. The scenery constantly changes and there’s so much history packed into one day. A few recommendations: * Bring multiple water bottles — there aren’t many convenient opportunities to buy more. * Dress in layers. I went from a tank top in the sun to a winter jacket once the wind picked up. * Sunscreen and sunglasses are essential at this altitude. * Bring altitude sickness remedies and motion sickness meds if you’re sensitive to either. Our guide, Lily, was fantastic. She shared so much history and cultural context throughout the day, and she did an excellent job keeping the group moving efficiently so we stayed ahead of the biggest crowds. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of the trip.
Italian guys. Tour guide very friendly and well prepared on the Inca's history. All well organized!
This was a great way to see the Sacred Valley! Pickup and the drive was seamless, everything was planned out really well. Lily was a great tour guide, she’s really passionate about educating her guests about the history.
Very good experience, if you didn't have a full day to do the whole valley I advise you. You even had the chance to participate in a textile workshop, we explain how and create from start to finish. I recommend this experience
